One thing that I really love about this is how you made Heather blue and Lion yellow/orange. MAYBE I’m reading too much into it but blue vs yellow/orange represents complete opposites in every way possible, especially morals. I like how Heather switches back and forth between blue and the warmer palette too. I love this animatic, it’s super gorgeous 💜💜

GIRL THE COLORS AND YOUR ARTSTYLE I REALLY LOVE IT!!!

i love the color composition here; the beginning heathertail has shades of blues and greys that show her somber mood. so when asked, “why so grey?” the viewer can take that metaphorically and literally. when she goes to see lionblaze her blues start to become more dim, showing her somber being reduced. lionblaze is a very saturated yellow, making him a standing out presence in the pmv. when heathertail sees the blood on lionblaze the lighting makes her go from yellow to a more redder color. when she is arguing with him both their colors look a little desaturated (to me at least) and when they are back to the more saturated colors they seem to compliment each other (blue and orange are complimentary colors; lionblaze has some orange on him i think.) sorry for the yap fest i hope this was all intentional and i dont look crazy. love the pmv! <3

Your pmv is rich in feelings, the beautifully detailed drawings blend perfectly with the lyrics and we feel the emotions of the characters. It contrasts a lot with the usual popular styles of flashy and colorful pmv, in a good way 😊 I can't stop watching this video !

I feel like Leafpool & Squrrielflight’s story doesn’t really make sense to me. Especially when Starclan encouraged Leafpool to leave TC with Crowfeather and then get mad at her for having kits? Like, srsly, make it make sense! She’s not the first medicine cat to have kits or to even the first to fall in love with another cat from a different clan. I just don’t like how they did Leafpool so dirty honestly.

Shit was actually so fucked up, like she really programmed her own child, I might have to reread the prologue to Darkness of Dragons, because it was a lot to throw at a reader

oh god, this made me realise leafpool didnt get to see her sister become leader while she was alive. she'll know in starclan but she never got to travel to the moonpool with her, didnt get to call her new name with the clan, see her during the gatherings.

been a long time since i cried over warrior cats!! that scene of them dodging and weaving through the falling stars sent me over the edge. it really feels like the sisters were each other's only true friends until the bitter end.
