One of my all time favorite games for C64. You have to play it with a second player if you really want the full experience. Sent hours playing this with my cousins. This was top notch home gaming for it's time.

We're ready for augmented reality gaming! VR was cool but kind of novelty. Imagine light weight headsets tied wirelessly to a powerful, centralized server in the middle of your playing field, woods, building, park, warehouse, whatever. It transmits in realtime to the players headsets as they run around in a fps, or mmp game. I'd imagine the cost would be high at first but we're already paying over $100 a day for amusement parks. This is the future, it would make people active and give an edge to those who become physically fit. How is the US military not already funding something like this?

I’ve played Frogger in VR (HoppyRoads) but now I’m thinking of DonkeyKong in VR. I know this video represents AR, but not it’s got me imagining those visuals. Can you imagine climbing those heights while dodging barrels? Crazy!😎

You can already play donkey kong like this or even better. You can play it first person in the metaverse with VR headset.

I ain't gonna lie this is pretty sick but there is nothing sweeter than playing on the original cabinet with the graphics edging the glass and the angled 15KHz monitor behind it. This is cool but playing on a real cab is and will always be cooler than this. Get off my lawn!

Mixed reality isn't the future, holograms are. Same with VR. Once it's more like Star Trek without having to wear something it'll take off. Has to be under $1k though or max $1k. I have both Playstation VR headsets so I know what time it is

I remember one of the coolest things ever when I was a kid was being able to play Donkey Kong on my Commodore 64. It was an arcade quality game unlike what we had for the Colecovision or Atari.

The Atari 2600 could not play such a beautiful version of Donkey Kong, even the Colecovsion version is not that nice. So I assume this is really the MAME version playing on the TV set.
