Saw my mate pull a 50cm bass on a weightless plastic in thay creek easily 10 years ago.
50 cm?! Sheeesh that’s a big bass dude, especially for that Creek haha. We have had really productive session in there with plenty towards the 40cm mark

Any recommendations for shore diving out of palm beach? Headed up in a few weeks?
It’s a fairly easy place to shore dive, the artificial reef is marked out by two yellow buoys which can hold pretty good fish in them self. If you’re confident enough you can swim out to the proper reef which isn’t too much further.

Great rig at a great price of $1,500 with a 15 hp & trailer. I sold my 2008 Tuff Tender with the same seat lockers for $1,100 in 2018. So you got a trailer and motor for $400. A year later I sold my immaculate 2008 15 hp Yammie 2 stroke for $1,700. You gabbed a bargain. You said you took 4 guys and gear.. The 3 metre Tuff Tender is officially rated for 3 adults & 15 hp. We called our bright blue TT - "The Flying Esky." They are a great rig. We even explored the Colo River in flood all the way to the Upper Colo bridge. Have fun.
Motor was already mine but absolutely agree with you mate, these are little machines and I enjoy every moment I spend on it 👍🏼

Hey David!! In QLD you are allowed to shoot them but it’s illegal in NSW. I probably shouldn’t encourage shooting them because it’s risky (incase they have have eggs) you can usually tell if they do because their tail is tucked under there body.
