Ys 9 music fucking sucks compared to older ys lmfao
@@JACKRAIDEN97 That only mean you don't like gothic, frankenstein, dracula, halloween, metallic music kind. I too didn't like it at first, but it grew up on me. It add a Ys feel to it. But damn that first field music I heard, made my hearth go nice. It's sound like any adventure Ys music; the thing that missed during the first hours of gameplay.
@@dycu I think I agree with Karan on this one. In Ys 9, I have to pick and choose the ones I really like: Cloaca Maxima, Waltz for Grace, "Marionette, Marionette", Aprilis, and Heart Beat Shaker are pieces that I feel that sound like Ys songs yet still can adapt well into gothic and classical. The weird thick violin in many of the Ys 9 songs did not sound great at all and some of the songs just felt like they were just filler. Ys 8 was a solid series of songs (Iclucian Dance stole the show for me.) The other games just kick ass the moment you enter an Ys game (Think about the openings to Ys 2, 6, and 7.) (Ys 5's "In the Cradle" was the only great song in that game.) Ys 9 was slacking a bit in some aspects and still a great game, but I'm certain that the upcoming Ys 10 will blow it out of the park.
