@LlannaaJorgan oh that's a problem. I'll definitely do a series then. I'll break the decades up into smaller videos so they are easier to watch 😁. It might take me until November to fit them in my rotation. Hope that's OK.

@@mana_witch yeah I’m only in the 1330s anyway, and I already suffered a year long hiatus from interest in playing so there’s probably no universe where I need them faster than you’d get to them lol😂

I think the rules state that once Wilkin gets married, he can get S2500. I didnt consult the rules lol good thing I haven't done the money/official wedding yet. I did set MCCC to allow teen pregnancy but I haven't figured out how to allow them to get married properly without aging them up first. This challenge isn't going to be super accurate to the time periods. Lots of things we just can't do with the Sims lifespans being the way they are.

@@mana_witch i just consulted them and yeah ur right it says u get a bunch more money when ur son married than you pay when your daughter marries. I think I just changed that rule in my head. And yeah, I get that. In my decades challenge, I would marry my sims off younger than historically accurate. I just like giving the information to combat the myth that 12 year olds getting married was a normal thing in medieval Europe

@drpigglesnuudelworte5209 oh yeah totally agree with you 😊, young women didn’t hit puberty till their late teens early 20s back then, so it was unnecessary for them to be married that young (unless they were royal pawns). I love learning the odd little tid bits of history because of this challenge. I may have gone down a medieval food rabbit hole one day 😅 can't wait till the 1600s when my sims can have potatoes.

😂 I had both in!! Ui cheats couldn't remove them. I might try putting the HC redux back in cuz it sounds really interesting. Lunamoth (tumblr & patreon) has a medieval override for the medicine bottles, and i really love the way they look.

That is so true! I think people assume that medieval times were so prudish. I think same sex couples kinda get glossed over just simply because they didn't produce children. They played other important rolls in society. I love my LGBTQ+ Sims way too much to not include them. Thank you so much for this comment, I was worried how my little deviation from the rules would go over, now I feel much better. 🥰

@@mana_witch it’s absolutely fine! And by the 1600s, England had immigrants from North Africa, India, France, etc in the form of wealthy merchants and refugees (they had some wealthy merchants from Africa in the Middle Ages but not very many, and they were usually like aristocratic wealthy). So the population was a lot more diverse than you might think!

@drpigglesnuudelworte5209 I think by that time (1600s) comes, the challenge sends me to North America ( I'll have to double check that). I'm not going to do the American history stuff cuz I'm Canadian, so I'm going to use my own countries history to add a bit of a twist. 😅 but that's 300 years ( episodes) in the future, and i might change my mind. I'll be keeping the diversity, though.

Sorry, It was a massive info dump 😅 I'm a "learn as i go" person, so I'm sure the first episode will be full of hiccups but atleast you will be able to learn from my mistakes. I learned a bit from watching morbidgamer's VODs on youtube. I need to rewatch a few sections to figure out her spreadsheet.

@@mana_witch If you use the decor box you will make a lot of money. But since is rags to ranches maybe it would be cheating cuz we can only make money out of ranching haha

The type of video you are editing determine the assets you want to use. I can't tell you what to put in your video because its up to the editor to decide. If you are unsure how you want your video to look, start by watching videos of other youtubers who make the same style of content as you will eventually make. Everyone's preferences will be different, so yes I did assume if you've gotten to the editing stage you would have done your research and chosen how you would like your future videos to look like already. If I'm misunderstanding your statement pls correct me by elaborating more about your issue.
