When I was stationed there in 74 you probably could have bought the whole base for 1.6 million. Especially with all the talk of closing it down. Warren B being a college town. Was always fun. I survived Pine Street. All kidding aside I often wished that I would have bought back then. But who knew. The last time I drove by. Say 10 years ago. The base has really grown. And the base housing is incredibly nice. Wish I could have gotten on base just to reminisce.

Update on Knob Noster; They’re updating the highschool! The grant wasn’t passed but the school district is still determined to make a better high school for the kids, I’m pretty sure I’ll go there for one year. Great school district, we’re a very school-proud town

I am staying eith a relative in the spring ridge highalnds, until i can get my own apartment here in warrensburg. I was curious if there have been any hauntings around spring ridge itself, as my relative has said to me a few times she has seen some sort of shadowy figure in the room i am currently using. They flaim the figure is some elderly woman, if my memory serves. Edit: ihave always been keen on odd energies and things abnormal, but i havent felt or seen anything in the room at all.... Yet... I am just curious as to if there have been any reports of hauntings in the soring ridge apartments here in warrensburg. Because if something is here, it either doesnt deem me to be worthy of its presence, or i havent done anything tocause it to have atirrings.

There used to be about 5 - 7 completely separate areas each "Mark Twain National Forrest" in southern Missouri and there are hundreds of miles between some of them. As someone who has lived in the Ozarks my whole life & we know it -- i thought I would point that out.

First nudist experience was at the 40 Acre Club. Incredibly positive experience. Everyone there is warm, wonderful, hospitable, and welcoming. I would not hesitate to recommend them if you’re considering trying to camp, relax, swim, or just hang out (no pun intended) in your birthday suit.

I have been a nudist or naturist for four years. I lived in Iowa for 25 years until I moved to West Virginia in 2021; so I’m very familiar with the naturist resorts or non-landed clubs in the Midwest. Blue Lake Resort in Illinois was my first Resort and first naturist experience. I have attended a dozen different resorts and events across the country. I will say Oaklake Trails and Turtle Lake have both built a good reputation among the naturist community. I will say the Midwest doesn’t have a heavy population of naturists. Naturism is more popular on the West Coast like California or the East Coast like Florida.

We are members of Oaklake Trails. We do background checks on anyone who wants to enjoy the park. Every nudist resort, club and park we have ever visited conducts background checks. It seems to be the rule rather than the exception, even if it isn't published on their website. When you are ready to give non-sexual nude recreation a try, you have an open invitation to come to Oaklake Trails. Your first day visit is free! The only place you have to be nude at Oaklake Trails is if you are actually IN the pools, hot tub or sauna. Everywhere else on the property is clothing optional, nudity encouraged, including the pool deck and sundeck outside of the sauna. Oaklake Trails is a largest by land area nudist/naturist park in North America at a whopping 419 acres with 2 large pools, a 20 person hot tub, pickleball courts, outdoor games, a disc golf course (discs provided!), miles of trails, several lakes and wildlife galore!
