Well said and thanks for this video mi dear. FACT is if you rush back, you'll regret it! You need to plan your return especially if you've lived abroad for over 10-15yrs. I'm in that process now and have been planning this for the last 5yrs and still have another 4yrs before I pack up and leave. I'm currently living like a poor man in the UK but trust me I'm saving every penny. The problem with a lot of people is not having the patience to plan, wait and see the plan through. I have at the moment done quite a lot back home already - my factory building (1000m2) is nearly done, acquired another 20 acres near river for another project. Don't get me wrong I earn a decent wage as a contractor but do sacrifice a lot of my time and pleasure - minimal holidays, no sick leave (had to start looking after myself very well), no fancy cars etc. to be in this position. Mind you, I'm married, 10yrs+ with more than 2 kids so you can imagine the financial stress I'm already under and then trying to pull all these off and reason you should give yourself time and plan. When I go home, I drive around in another 10yr old car (in mint conditions though - with old external aesthetics) and some (current local champion) have said things like, he's been abroad for this long and is that all he can afford? What they don't see is the vision and what 's brewing in the background so I just ignore them and see them as being shortsighted. Home is home people - you need to plan your escape from the corporate slavery abroad! To do this get a contract role if you can as this pays more money without all the perks (this is where you'll need to sacrifice something) the full time permanent employees receive but good thing about this is that you get to save very quickly to make your move happen. If you have any debts, pay them off first, as debt will slow down the progress of your savings significantly. Don't try to shut down your old lifestyle instantly as there's that risk you won't be able to continue in your new ways and then you'll eventually go back to your old ways or even worse. Let the change be gradual. Give yourself time but at the same time be realistic! Speak to people who have returned home from abroad - those who successfully did so and to those who have not be successful in their return - trust me you'll learn from both. I know you've heard this before but I'll repeat it anyway. Whatever you do please DO NOT SEND MONEY TO YOUR FAMILY MEMBER OR FRIENDS to help you buy land or build anything - they will squander it and then kill your dream. Go home and do it yourself. This is why it takes time to move. Best of luck to all, let go back and make AFRICA the GREATEST CONTINENT AGAIN!

I don't want to build in Nigeria when I know I don't plan to live there. In the process of buying a house in Europe. Building big empty mansion for who to stay in? When I'm old and plan to move back, I'll build a bungalow and enjoy the rest of my life. Don't live your life to impress materialistic people. And avoid those that only accord you normal respect only when you spend money.

I just wasted 11mins of my precious time, I wish I could request for my time back cos how on earth are you misleading people with your information??!!!! 11 mins of you telling people to come back home even when with nothing but you didn’t tell them the country you’re in or your story 😅 I’m sure if you’re in a working country, you won’t advise anyone to go back to where they’re coming from with just accommodation and flight fee and no plans.

All I can safely say is hang in there, be alert, aware and responsive when God sends people to bless you so that you do not block avenues that God sends to bless you...a lotta times he answers before the problem even comes. Hang in there, take care, and Yahuwah bless always. One❤Africa.

When you were shipping in that video, i just said to myself hope these people don’t disappoint, alot of the cargo are like dupes, they tell you 21 days, and you may not see it for the next 3 months. That’s why cargo whether from Nigeria or to Nigeria is something i am always skeptical about.

Every story is not the same. Even in Nigeria some people went to same school and graduated but some get good job and others struggle. It is the same going abroad. I think when you travel abroad it is to explore opportunities. A few things to consider: 1. Did you travel legally with right to work ? 2. Do you have the right education and skill set to be gainfully employed? 3. Do you have special artisans skills like hairdresser or electrician or plumber or 4. If you want to do business, do you have the fund and expertise? 5. Many people travel without a plan on how to get papers, no skills so no clarity what they will do and no plan to get correct training or fund to fund such training. If you travel without a plan it will be difficult and even more difficult if you have dépendants like kids. I think anyone can do well according to their respective abilities within or outside Nigeria. But it all depends on what you have to give. One thing is certain abroad, you won’t get a bail out from families so you need to be able to work legally and usually people get stuck with temporary job that is meant to be a stop gap. Yes please go back home if you don’t have enough skills or ability to make enough to pay your bills before it is too late. But even in Nigeria, you still need to work hard to earn a living. The only difference is that things can be cheaper, there are enough family support system. Yes home is better but there is no free lunch anywhere not even in your home town. Everything is all about perspective. There are many Nigerian professionals doing extremely well abroad but they have the skills set and work hard. Many Nigerian come abroad expecting it easy, work little and expect to make plenty of money£££ or $&&.

I was in Malaysia for a week and was wondering where all the Africans were at. From a tourist perspective it looked okay but I had questions. How do foreigners survive there and what jobs are easy to come by. Of course investing in Malaysia is the easier alternative to migrate there but not too many people can afford that. This was a good insight from you video

Better to just buy a maruwa or keke and drive that around. You can even make money from it to pay yourself back. I heard those cost around 2 million naira? If you are single with no kids. relocating back and living within your means should be easy. Also food is so much cheaper and healthier in Nigeria.
