SnS is my melee main, actually. If you like the snappiness and maneuverability of LBG, SnS is a solid secondary weapon. Saying that, though SnS is super freakin solid, that LBG auto reload from p dodging is like a dopamine hit with added extra dps 😆

@Saint0Salsa-mhn yea it's damage output especially is very astounding and I am a little worried that the hbg is overtuned because it's new and might end up getting nerfed. I don't want to build a completely new armour set just to have it nerfed then :S

Unfortunately, at this time, there’s no way to get more. I feel your pain though 😭 one weekend wasn’t enough time unless you went ham. Do note though: you only really need to get it to 8/1 to make it group hunt effective as long as you have para attack 2. Para 1 should be okay too but 2 is cozy

I don't think they'll give us another chance , it's a really fun hbg though so I went ham and can 10 5 it but since you can't bring it to 8 and wait for volvidon hbg that should come out next month.

I like running extra sleep attack to make sure whatever I’m fighting takes a nap sooner, even if I wiff a sleep shot 😅 though against sleep weak monsters it’s probably waaaay better to run Rude. I need to do more testing to check out sleep breakpoints in multiplayer

Generally, the bblos bow is better for a few reasons, but I find the HBG more fun overall as a main series HBG main. You want a solid beat stick to use? Go with the bow

When it’s grade 8/1 or above, absolutely! Another good tip, everyone gets a double damage hit once the monster falls asleep so don’t rush if you want to set up for a certain target

Absolutely! I’m trying to get more vids up soon for this type of gameplay specifically that demonstrates how far a freshly forged elemental HBG with a solid elemental armor build can get you. It’s not particularly worth it to me for HBG since I prefer having burst for the spread ammo, which has a higher up time since rude awakener only procs one a fight consistently. Particularly in multiplayer hunts. On GS it would be worth having rude awakener for them big numbers

Imo, not really. Especially if you mainly play solo. There are better options like the BBlos HBG or the Mag HBG if you’re wanting a raw weapon. The NS Pao HBG is a lot of fun though and is great for supporting your team if you get it to 8/1 and have some sleep attack. I’m testing to see how viable it is solo and under graded in these videos to see how far it can carry someone. Also because it’s a fun challenge 😊

Rotating your position helps to prevent from getting pinned, so it’s a good idea to get in the habit of it even when you don’t really need to reposition. And, most importantly, it looks flashy

You’re correct, I just thought you were asking about the playstyle lol. My b When you dodge while charging a shot, your charge also continues to progress as you move. After the movement ends, you are forced to release the shot (unless you p dodge)

Nice build! If you can swing it, I’d recommend maxing burst. That damage buff is kinda crazy with this weapon

Yes, but not as much as you’d think. Since the BBlos HBG has such high base damage, it greatly offsets the negative affinity even without skills like crit eye or WEx

Depends on whatcha want to do with it. Having a partbreaker build and a burst/affinity build isn’t too difficult because of the low number of drifts required to get started. So I use my PB build to farm and my dps build for recording/tough fights. As for the chest, with crit eye drifted on my Odo, I prefer the consistent +20% affinity over the conditional +25 from the Rath that doesn’t have a drift. Especially with how far the shots pierce through the monster. I would love a Jho chest with WEx drifted over either of the others though. Working on that still

If you’re going to build just one HBG, it’s easily the best bang for your buck imo

Great question! It’s mainly personal preference while I drift better builds and I had crit eye on my Odo chest already. The difference is theoretically ~2.3% damage between the two (without a drift on the Jho chest) at weapon grade 10/1. The deciding factor was that I have the Odo at 8/2 and the Jho is only 6/2 atm

A have My Rath chest with WE 1. Having WE 5 would be better than WE 2 & Crit eye 3?

I wouldn’t say it’s OP, but it definitely is a great option for a generalist build. It would be my recommendation if you could only make one HBG though. The BBlos bow is on a whole other level. If I can’t kill it with my BBlos HBG, my BBlos Bow does it comfortably

@@ascalone9806 the bblos bow is a super weapon. There is no other raw weapon that comes close. Personally I hate the charge mechanic on bows, so I stick with my bblos DB, but you can't knock the bow. It's on its own level.
