Cape Horn Upper Trail on the Columbia River Gorge.
Come with me as I explore the Cape Horn trail. It’s one of the closest trails to Vancouver and one of the best. There are some amazing views of the Columbia river and you walk through nice forests and fields of wild flowers. There is some nice elevation gain and the out and back trail is over 8 miles. ** Full loop is open now **

It is peaceful early in the morning but can get a little busy on hot summer days.

So beautiful ❤❤❤

You are high up there bud be safe
It was probably the toughest hike I have ever done. Definitely not for everyone.
I try to go out in nature as much as possible. Hiking and camping are my favorite things to do after a long week at work.
I feel alive in nature especially after a tough hike up a mountain!
You better watch out they may take over the channel. 😊

Are those concrete stairs on the right side?
It is an old boat ramp.
I just finished this hike on Saturday 8/10. However did not do the exact route because I was not interested in 17-19 miles and decided to to the other route via Aldridge Butte where you have to get creative with parking so you don’t get towed and also figure out how to access the start of that particular trail from your car. Having the subscription for AllTrails is great because you can navigate yourself to the trail. We did 12 miles. And that about did me in. When people say it’s hard it just doesn’t translate until you do this hike. The loop is so strenuous. We did counter clockwise and either way I felt pushed physically and mentally lol. Coming down was I think worse due to feeling like I could slip or one wrong step and die. Awesome job for completing the long route! You’re a champion! I only did this hike for training purposes. In my opinion it’s not a “fun” hike. It’s a hike you do for one purpose… challenge and training. However, the views were wonderful so that does give some rewards!
Congratulations on completing Table Mountain. Just doing the final mile is an achievement. If parking wasn’t an issue I would have done the shorter route. This hike was tough for sure and I was so tired at the end I couldn’t even shoot a video once I got back to the car. I was glad I did it but it’s definitely not for everyone. Thank you for watching and commenting.

I have had weird experiences at the Gifford Pinchot National Forest. I think Sasquatch live in that area. When I went camping in 2018, I heard branches snapping and breaking around me when I was setting up my tent. Everything went silent. No leaves rustling in the wind. No birds chirping. No animal sounds. It was so creepy that I left after 30 minutes at my campsite. I still get goosebumps as I'm typing this. lol.
Wow that is a frightening experience. I think you made the right decision to pack up and leave. I felt I wasn’t alone on my hike up Larch mountain last month but I pushed through. I don’t think I would have camped if it was an overnight trip.
Thank you for bringing us along on your trip. The Olympic National Park is one of my favorite places to go hiking and camping. The spring and summer time are packed with people especially holidays.
@@LaoSoftware I appreciate you watching. The crowds were definitely bad on Sunday but not too bad after that. The secret is to go early. I had Marymere falls to myself at 8 in the morning. Are you from Laos? I was there 20 years ago. Some amazing waterfalls there. Too bad I didn’t have TH-cam back then.

Hello sir! Question for you! Have you ever accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and savior from your sins?
@@johnbricegriffin8404 Thank you for sharing.
@@Thetravelfool101 No problem. Our sins doom us to hell but Jesus made the way for us to be saved! Jesus is the only way to be saved from our sins!

There is parking at the falls creek falls trailhead. The road is pretty rough for the last 2 miles.
