UPDATE: Test screening (s) happened last night. It is NOT a prequel, the opening disaster happens in a restaurant on top of a big tower (kinda like the Dead Man's Hand book), also it's said to be different from the rest of the movies. All five previous movies are said to be canon in a "big way". Brec Bassinger is playing a younger version of Esther, so she will only be in the opening and maybe a couple of flashbacks. Death is killing in the order of the date of birth. Tony only shows up for a tad bit, like always. There will be something regrading an MRI machine. The revolving door kill was moved to this movie. This movie was so BLOODY FUN! The actress of Abigail was insanely good and the movie was so funny. I has an absolute blast with it and cannot wait to watch it again. Going to be apart of my halloween viewing for years to come for sure.

As far as the tone of the movie, the dialog in particular, tho one movie that I feel is the most similar would be The Birdman.

Great review. I gave it a similar score on my channel. You make a good point about how Kong was the main focus of the movie, especially the hollow Earth scenes and all the setup for it. Not sure if that was a good or a bad thing tbh.

Great movie. People don't know about it. They should. The main character reminds me of the main character in A Simple Man; the Cohen brothers movie. The Weatherman was hilarious, sad, cathartic, uplifting, and depressing...all at the same time. Absolutely incredible movie

A small part of me wished he just show the BF toward the end. Lol. I can tell you just started doing this. Nice job. A suggestion is cut out the curses. It adds nothing to the presentation and maybe make it longer. You seemed to have more to say about this fine film.
