Haven't played this song in years but decided to give it a go. This is one of the songs I learned how to play drums with and I had some fun revisiting it. Original drums by Bill Ward who is still to this day probably my favourite drummer of all time.
All live and no editing trickery in post. I added some minor eq and compression while mixing but mostly the sound is the result of my sloppy playing and some freaking good sounding drums.
The kit is a late 70's Yamaha Pre-Recording Custom 9000 chrome over wood kit (24, 14, 18) and snare is a 80's 14x5 Tama Imperialstar steel snare. Cymbals are 14'' 2002 hats, 18'' 2002 crash, 18'' f602 medium and 20'' dixie crash/ride.
