You can tell immediately from the regalia this dancer is not Yaqui
🇲🇽🇲🇽
You also have to remember it is the consumers choice by cost I don't think anybody will wanna waste our time asking questions whether it's real or counterfeited whether it's the original or cheap knock off it all comes down to how much a true native artist is going to charge versus a non-native who gives out a cheaper price he also have to remember that in America we have the first amendment I don't see any problem of a non-native creating Native American artwork without having to be affiliated with no tribe it's like saying in order to be a ninja you have to be full-blooded Japanese I don't see myself respectively paying $100 to a native artist for one simple portrait or blanket or basket versus somebody who has a non-native charging only $20 respectively just a consumer with the right to choose

Yaquis deer dance... not hoop dance
great video!!!!
Where can I get your graphic novel Itan
So thankful to have NEFA for support and guidance during these times!
What a great Idea. It will be a nice realization to have other parks from all over the world to copy this idea from you. To promote culture is to encorage people to think CREATIVE.
Great talent from Pakistan 👌👌👏👏👏👍👍
This is fancy dance, not hoop dance. (Hoop dance has... Well, hoops! XD) Yaquis don't do fancy dance. Yaquis don't do hoop dance.
superb Yara dera zama e okra
This is NOT YAQUI culture
got the info that i left out the man that brought fancy dance and what is now the most watched dance that thereis in our powow world today we owe it all to him R.I.P. MR. GUS PALMER thank you for letting me share this mitukye oysin
this what we call MEN'S FANCY DANCE WAS DONE FIRST IN PONCA CITY OKLAHOMA back in the 40's im not sure when to be exact . this is not a hoop dancer
hat's Right, their are no Hoop dancers. This is a plains Indian tradition or Northern. There is even an Inuiet Hoop dance, but it is definitely not Yaqui, even if the dancer himself was of the tribe it is misleading to associate Yaqui's to this. Like saying the traditional Chinese Waltz, or the Nigerian Salsa. Please Change your Title and clarify.
There is no hoop dancers in Pascua Yaqui!!!
