Disappointing Experience at Form Factory Gym, Prague, Overpriced & Disingenuous #formfactory #prague

We were excited to try out Form Factory Gym in Prague’s Palladium Mall, but unfortunately, our experience fell short. Despite advertising a free day pass, it’s only available to locals with a Czech phone number. The gym charges around $15 per person for a single-use entry (not a full day pass), meaning you can’t come and go as you please. To access the sauna, not only do you have to be fully nu...

I agree! That deep orange screams healthy happy chicken to me 🤗
I’m glad you showed the truth of that overwhelmingly crowded market. I noticed in the videos I’ve watched they are all walking aimlessly around, no shopping bags, no big smiles just trying to get through the crowds of people.
I will say maybe it depends on when you go ? Is it better earlier in the evening or later ? Weekday or weekend ?
I will say maybe it depends on when you go ? Is it better earlier in the evening or later ? Weekday or weekend ?
It was even more overwhelming than the video shows, maybe a weekday during the day would be easier to navigate
Heys guys, so it's totally legal what you did. The Neues Rathaus is an open house. Everybody is allowed to walk around in there. I wouldn't go into the offices, if you don't have a cocern with the city of Munich or try to open closed doors. But otherwise everything is allowed. Most peopleof Munich and tourist don't know that. P.S. But nobody was thrown of the Rathaus. That's in Prague ;-)
Thank you very much for the info! We always just do things until someone kicks us out lol, but it’s nice to know we were allowed to be there, although the WC is locked up tight haaaa
@@MarkandLindasXadventures I think city officials don't want their restrooms trashed by tourists. Understandable. ;-)
Wish I knew the name of what I'm looking at because it looks good

19:05 St. Martin's Cathedral was the place of coronation of the kings of the Kingdom of Hungary, from the imperial family of the Habsburgs of Vienna, from 1563 to 1830, when Bratislava was the capital of the kingdom until 1848. At the beginning of its existence, the Pope approved the relocation of the Prefect's Church of the Holy Savior from the castle to the city. Pope Innocent III. in 1221 he complied with the request of the Hungarian king Imrich in this matter.
Thank you for this comment, the amount of history we casually stroll through is absolutely incredible, layer upon layer… truly overwhelming and fascinating
@@MarkandLindasXadventures Known as the Carpathian-Alpine Gate, this place has been important since ancient times. Here the Carpathian Mountains plunge into the Danube River. The first known people who lived here were the Celts, who had a fortified Oppidum here and minted Biatec silver coins and other types as well. Then came the Germans - Marcomani and Quadi. The Romans built the Limes Romanus on the Danube. The Roman emperor Marcus Aurelius wrote his work somewhere here: Thoughts to Himself. And besides, he fought with the Germans. At the end of the 5th century, the Slavs came to the scene of history - the Principality of Nitra and the Great Moravian Empire. According to Aventinus, in 805/807, a Moravian prince named Uratislaus (that is, Slavic: Vratislav) had a city built on the site of the destroyed Roman border fortress of Pisonium. They were followed by the nomadic Hungarians, who created a kingdom at the beginning of the millennium. The first king St. Stephen received the area of today's Bratislava as a dowry for his wife Gizela, the daughter of the Duke of Bavaria, and they also lived here. In 1918, the monarchy collapsed and Bratislava became the capital of the Slovaks. First in Czechoslovakia and then in the Slovak Republic.
keep it up! Was fun to watch you guys :) enjoy your stay in Prague. Greetings from Austria.
thanks so much! we are trying to get better, Prague is an amazing city! We are currently in Vienna BTW!

"HE'S J-WALKING!" Said someone who has never lived in NYC.
Haaa always in the street, always
Its a free "trial" not a free entry. The point of it is to get you as a costumer not to give free days to tourists. Very common in such cases to require local number.
I get where you're coming from! We're actually considering a move to Prague because we love the city so much. That said, it feels like this gym is handling things in a way that might put off potential long-term members. With over 30 years of experience going to gyms, we've seen the best and worst of customer service, and this approach just doesn’t quite hit the mark for us.
Will be there Sunday, 50th time .weed is illegal in the czech Republic. Its fake !

Thank you for your clip. One of my last wishes on this earth was to visit Auschwitz Birkenau Nazi Concentration Camp to pay my respects to all that were tortured and died in this camp, but because I have agoraphobia I would find this impossible, So may I thank you for your visit there are I can watch this on TH-cam.
thank you so much for your comment, you actually brought tears to my eyes (Mark). The actual feeling of being there is what we really wanted to convey, one of the strangest moments of either of our lives wasn't walking in there, it was walking out those gates, so many did not get that privilege and my heart weighs heavy to this day with some sort of "survivors" guilt.. such a mix of emotion coupled with hard cold truth, thank you for watching, I really mean that.

Thank you for posting this. I loved hearing the enthusiasm in your voice. My wife and I stayed 10 nights on Lower Marsh shortly after you shot this and I felt the same. Every day, I'd walk through the tunnel at least once, recording as I went. It was amazing seeing the artwork transform during the time we were there. Should you care to see how the art changed from your visit to Sept 20th - 30th, I've posted a video. In it, you can also see how the artwork on the ceiling was accomplished while I was there. The Sunday morning before leaving London, I was walking through very early and kept hearing this angelic voice. As I neared the far end of the tunnel, I found it was the lady cleaning the trash from Saturday night's parties. We are returning in December for 12 nights, so I'll be posting a follow-up video sometime after the holidays.
thank you so much for this comment! it is a very impressive place, I will watch your video and can't wait to see the one you post in December! I sometimes feel alone in my amazement of what I am seeing, especially when people say that street art isn't art, I believe graffiti has been around as long we have, an ancient art form, crude and fast at times, but still art!
Hurdy gurdy is an awesome instrument
sounds epic in these streets

60 Years ago....Bengali Restaurant used to be the village library, the fish and chip shop has always been there. There were no nail bars and the only barber used to be Walt Burton where I endured traditional short back and sides as a kid. All the pubs seem to be in the same position. Butchers shop is in original place but was local owned, not SA. They used to make great Cornish Pasties :) The RSPA shop to the left of the butchers was an electrical retailer and I bought my first LP record there. I'm sure the place 'to rent' used to be Barclays Bank and the building on the corner by the clock tower used to be Lloyds Bank. Shame you didn't turn right at the top of the high street. Must visit again myself one day.
thank you very much for your comments, we walk through and only ever see what is, not what has been. I use my imagination a lot to try and imagine the past but it is never as good as first hand accounts like yours, thanks again!
There’s nothing there it takes ten minutes to walk around.I live 15 minutes from there ,one of my friends used to live there .The base guitarist out of Blondie had previously lived in her house ,exciting right.😅

Great video! Awesome fact about that F-16 is that it was the second protoype F-16 ever built (YF-16 #2). It was just recently unveiled after being repaired/worked on and painted back to it's original flight test colors/markings! It retired back in 1979 and has been an antenna test model for over 40 years. The team at the museum put in over 5,000 hrs to bring her back to her original glory! Such a special bird and wonderful museum!
such amazing machines, the history behind each bolt and the people that make the museum happen are incredible.
The 13pd field gun @4:35 is still used by the Kings Troop Royal Horse Artillery for firing royal gun salutes, for state/royal funerals, a platform is constructed over the barrel of one, and is used to carry the coffin to Westminster Abbey. A battery of them fired the first British shots of WW1. Not all exhibits are from the world wars, the armoured press land-rover was from the gulf war. The scientists who built the V2 would be used by the U.S. to develop their space programme. Some regiments have different height stipulations, at the time you had to be at least 6'2" to join a Guards Regiment, (now it's 5'10") in their ceremonial red tunics and bearskins they would be around 7'6". Later in WW1 they formed "Bantam Battalions" for men around 5'. Gurkha Rifleman Lachhiman Gurung VC was just 4'10", he was awarded a Victoria Cross in 1945 for singlehandedly fighting off a Japanese attack, despite losing his right hand and eye in a grenade explosion. The bi-plane in the WW1 hall is a Sopwith Camel, so called for the humped fairing above it's guns. After WW1the Sopwith company would become Hawker aircraft, and produce some of the best WW2 fighters, the Hurricane, Typhoon, Tempest, Fury/Sea Fury. During the Korean War a Sea Fury shot down a Chinese jet, the only time a propeller driven plane has shot down a jet in a 1on1 dogfight. When Hawker were absorbed into BAE they were working on their latest and greatest project, the Harrier. The civilian owner of the motor yacht "Sundowner" Charles Lightoller was one of the "little ships" at Dunkirk, he rescued 90--100 troops, and they survived an attack by a Stuka dive bomber, if it had succeeded it would've been his 4th ship sinking, sinking number two was when he was second officer on the Titanic.
INCREDIBLE INFORMATION Thank You
Very enjoyable ... the T34 Tank, although built in '54, was used extensively in WW2, it was designed in 1934 hence the name ..
thank you very much! confusing but ok!
Thanks for the tour. This was fun!!!! 🙂
Glad you enjoyed it!

Hi guys. You popped up on my recommended videos so I thought I'd give it a watch. Glad you enjoyed London. As for the skateboards on Hungerford Bridge, there's a real sad story behind that. Iirc it was a young skater lad who was thrown from the bridge into the Thames and sadly lost his life.
Oh wow, we had no idea-that’s truly heartbreaking news. There’s just so much history to explore here, and we often feel overwhelmed by both the widely known stories and the deeper, more personal ones that lie beneath the surface. And don’t even get me started on the legends and myths intertwined with it all! It’s incredible how much there is to discover.
