52" Hunter Studio Series Ceiling Fan
Hello everybody! What I have here today is some unknown Hunter ceiling fan, I got this free from the side of the road, my Dad was the one who told me about it. So I brought it home and decided to wire it up to see if it worked properly. Unfortunately, only the one speed works on the fan as noted on a piece of tape on one of the blades, but at least it works, and it is more for collecting purposes so it doesn't really matter.

I picked this thing up yesterday at the flea market, and I must say this thing is pretty quiet, the bearings seem to be pretty well lubricated, I think this was a cool find, I was debating on whether to get it, and I am sure glad I decided to get it. It is a plastic heater, but I think it's older so the plastic would be made out of good quality, but I would still never leave this running unatte...

I got this one yesterday at a flea market, and it seems to be a pretty nice heater, I like how it is made out of metal, so that means it is a pretty safe heater to use.

These fans were installed in a liquidation store. It seems like these fans were painted, because the motor was black and the blades seemed to have a yellowish tint to them, or maybe the blades were white. Thanks for watching this video, feel free to comment, like, and subscribe.

This was a floor test video, of a ceiling fan I had found yesterday at my nearest Value Village, it was new old stock, because it was new in the box. I couldn't get the light to work on it unfortunately, but at least the fan is functional. I hope you enjoy this video!

I have two of these. I find their quiet operation and neon indicator lights to be comforting on cold mornings. They do have one weakness though: self-destructing thermostats. They can’t handle the current draw and the insulators will eventually melt. You will get an early warning sign though: they will start cutting out prematurely and often. If left too long the thermostat will start arcing occasionally. It’s easy to bypass the thermostat though; I selected a short piece of wire with two female and one male spade terminal taken from a clothes dryer as removing the thermostat leaves one female terminal with nowhere to go. I can’t be bothered using the thermostat anyway; the high/low switch gives me all the control I need and is more reliable than bimetallic switches in general. Speaking of which, there’s another one in the back above the fan which I think is there to shut it off if the front is obstructed.
They are rather quiet heaters, but like you said, a lot of fan heaters have a tendency in opening their thermostats, or thermal fuses if they are left in the hottest heat setting. I personally don't trust these kinds of heaters because of the fact that the housing is made out of plastic, I like the more well built heaters like those electric fireplaces, or shop grade heaters.

OMG! You got your third ceiling fan in your collection just 2 days after I visited you. Nice find! This Hunter looks like an early low profile. Is this fan a Hugger or close mounted?
It was actually my Dad who spotted it out when he was coming home from work, and he told me about it, and it was actually just across the road from us on the curb for free. So I took it home and decided to wire it up to see if it worked, and it did, but only on the one speed which is too bad, but I can't complain. This is a close mounted ceiling fan, because it has the canopy.

This fan is nice and it blows lots of air and it looks like SUPER brand
It is a really cool fan, and I thought it blew a decent amount of air when I last turned it on. The reason why it looks like a Super is because it is an SMC made fan, and Supers put their names on SMC.

It does. But it's actually a Canarm. It's really interesting on how the original owner decided to put SMC stencil blades on it, a couple people said they were from an SMC Laguna.
This specific fan is pretty childhood mine because my grandma would you probably remembered had one from 2003 and it was up there for 20 years until earlier this year my grandma took the fan down and replaced it with a Canarm CF42-PB and that fan was a pretty good fan I’m going to try to get my hands on it again because I wanna hang it up in my bedroom.
+ I remember calling it the “eye” Fan before I realized what the name was
I hope you can get that Canarm Mystic again, it will be cool if you do put it in your bedroom.

I have a working and another non-working HT800 here ... I love these fans and i HEAR that the 900's may not move as much air as the HT800's .... i am probably going to toss the broken one (the other i use DAILY for years now) .... I hear the motor and it even gets loud sometimes .... but it doesn't even seem to be trying to spin .... I figured before tossing the broken one maybe i could get a few $ part to fix the broken one ... if not ... no big deal ... or maybe i can find one out for trash from someone else and if i swap a part or two, i will have a working one (between say a trash find part + my broken one that is) i dont need another one since i have one that works with some TLC and lubrication every so often ... but if i did i'd 100% get one of these (800 or 900 series ... whatever) Honeywells ... i am in a hot/humid place and even on LOW the HT800s are really powerful
