WONDERING IF THESE ARE EDIBLE, What do you think?
I have been a bit busy lately and sort of let the garden go. I forgot about the sweet potatoes and decided that to give the green vines to the goats. This is what I found. #garden #oklahoma #oopsie #iforgot #gardening

Thank you for subscribing to my channel😊
Hi, new subscriber here! Great harvest! That’s massive! I have video up of when I harvested mine a few weeks ago. 😊
Thanks for the subscribe, 🥰 I'll go check you out too. 😊 These sweet potatoes have been amazing.
@ Thanks 😊
It is my first time on your channel and I have just subscribed. Thank you so much for sharing. Keep up the good work. All the best on this journey.
@@myhomeandgardenchanneldwel7777 Thank you for the subscribe! I truly appreciate it. 🥰 I go check yours out too. 😊
I’m praying for much needed rain
@@julieamant1699 I sure have been too.Tyank you Julie.
Our prayers were certainly answered. 😊
Looks great
@@julieamant1699 Thank you. I have one bed planted out and will start a second one in the morning. More videos to come.
It’s going to be beautiful
@@julieamant1699 I sure hope so... It feels like I am dragging my feet, but the starting process is just slow... Irises have their seasons, and this is the season for splitting and planting.
Syrup is made from that.
Feel free to post a link or video on how to do that... I had not thought of syrup, I do know it is a grain similar to corn. Thank you.
@@Lollylobacres I don't have any links, but you can Google it I'm quite sure they'll show you several ways to do it. I saw a TH-cam video on it a while back. So maybe if you ask TH-cam they'll list of videos. That's the only reason I know about it. LOL
Great idea, thanks!
Wow a vagina tree I thought they were extinct
I would either say somethings eating if from the inside out or it’s just the fact that it’s dying and it’s on its last legs ?
Interesting thought, thank you. I really think the tree needs to go, but it is huge, I am fairly certain it is several different trees that grew together, so most likely diseased.
I love your mums
Thank you! I do too!
Im from Oklahoma (The Village), what are these, and why dont you want them to bud? Ive been thinking about getting a couple of plants
Hello. These are chrysanthemums. It's not really that I don't want them to bud, but that I don't want them to bud yet. I would much prefer them to be much larger before they bud. I want to be able to sell them at their peak, Chrysanthemums are tricky, they need lots of sun to help them grow, once they start getting more shade than sun they begin to set blooms. Chrysanthemums bloom at least three times a year so even if I sell them at this size, they will get huge eventually. They are very healthy plants and will do well for anyone that buys them.
I'm doing the same thing to eliminate weeds in my strawberry patch. I removed all of the plants. I have an almost impossible grassy weed that I'm trying to eliminate. Good luck with yours beds.
You too. I am sure it is going to work, I have been super impressed so far.
Whew, that was a little more than i was thinking. I am glad you posted this though! Ive been working on getting landscaping tarps down, butni think i will get some large tarps for the areas i wont be able to cover it with yet
A friend gave me an idea. If you have feed bags, you can place them down in small areas to help kill off the weeds I think this is an excellent use and handy way to repurpose them.
Just exactly when was this filmed and where was it filmed because irises bloom normally in late spring up north
Filmed yesterday in Oklahoma City. Our Irises are done unless they are very late rebloomers.
Did you win anything?
As a matter of fact, yes I did, in the Raffle I won two 7 inch and two 11 inch plant pots, and in the Iris Auction I won Irises "This Is Crazy", "Beyond Pretty" and "Destination Unknown". I also came home with irises - "Reckless Abandon", "Sweet Devotion", "Easter Bonnet", "Dracula's Kiss" and "Ghirardelli Square". It was a fabulous time.
New subscriber here. I miss our big greenhouses,
This one definitely has positives and negatives, I am still working to get it truly functional for me.
It is beautiful
I think so too.
Thanks ❤🎉😢🎉❤🎉
That is awesome.
Wow I just discovered the same thing in my squash garden. Never seen it before. Can’t wait to see what happens!
It eventually died. 😢 But I was mostly expecting that.
It's a Vole images.app.goo.gl/NScHw2rC4qo2g4u48
Pick it! The bottom will rot. It turns color on you counter
Oh no no no... This baby gets to do its thing in the sun. It was fasciated which is why you see the spot on the bottom. But letting it ripen in the sun and picked in the middle of the day before watering will concentrate the sugars and give it its best flavor. My tomatoes taste amazing. Now if I were selling, I would most likely pick as soon as I started seeing color, but then they just do not quite taste the same and their skin is a little thicker.
Why did she kick two 😂
She is just scratching for food to feed the babies, little ones got in the way. They are very resilient when they are first hatched. They kinda just roll with the flow.
I’m also in Oklahoma:)
Where abouts, I am always looking for more Okies to watch.
Between Checotah and Eufaula:). I have a Facebook page, but I’m not ready yet for TH-cam:)
Wow! That's awesome.
I think so too. I think I will get some cherry jelly out of them.🥰
Great video. Very informative. I really enjoy the longer format videos with so much valuable gardening/plant information. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
Thank you for your input. I am working on it, truly I am. I appreciate the encouragement. ☺️
That's awesome! I want some of these in my garden.
They are so good. Don't eat them green, you eat them when they turn yellow. They are unlike anything else you can grow in your garden. ☺️
I raise chickens when I was younger, and I always loved turn the eggs each day in the incubator waiting until time for them to hatch. Do you give them a few sips of sugar water when they are born
My chickens stay in their incubator until completely dried off, it is quite humid in there, so no need for the water right away. I do give them electrolytes to drink the first day, followed by water with garlic oil and oregano oil which are natural antibiotics. They also get chick crumbles from day one. Raising chickens has been so much fun. Thanks for asking.
Wow they are loaded with tomatoes and beautiful ones at that
Yes they are. I have been debating on pulling some of the unripe ones and picked them. They are such a pretty color. Do you think this would be a good idea?
Have you ever grew any Cherokee tomato?
I actually thought I had some planted this year, but do not believe I do. They are on my future plant list. I love beautiful tomatoes.
Beautiful plants thanks for the video
Thanks for visiting
I’ve got lots of blooms on my zucchini that haven’t opened up yet They’ve been that way for two weeks. I’m not sure why it’s taking so long.
When are you hosting your garden? The flowers open in the morning before it gets too hot and then will close during the heat to protect the fruit.
Hmmmmm Maters.
It made the best BLT, you just cut away the bad parts, the rest is just fine to eat.
Beautiful ❤️ Amazing growth 🪴
Thank you!
Haha. Cute!
Thanks
just ordered some seeds. you have lots of good garden spots!
What did you order, anything fun?
