Just another curious sea lion.... Watch until the end - perfect buoyancy but oh that itch! Excuse the incorrect white balance...
Left the Dust Cap Off?

What happens when you do this and what can you do? Don't foget to keep your hands away from the regualtor on air and if your reg doesn't work right afterward, bring it to the shop for service.

What is involved in completing a hydro test of a tank. Here is a quick overview of the basic steps.
Truk Lagoon - Florida Underwater Sports September 2016

Amazing trip to arguably the best wreck diving in the world. The diving is complimented by an amazing history lesson each time you enter the water. Among the endless supply of artifacts you also see firsthand the power of nature too transform these rusting ships into amazing coral reefs.
Turtle Fun in Jupiter

Great Labor Day weekend, diving in Jupiter! Thanks tot he crew of JDC. Janine did a great Sea Turtle Awareness class. The current was strong - as shown by my shaky camera, and the turtle that ran into my camera (really, I didn't run into him!). Greg

Great weekend in Jupiter! Weather was perfect (but getting worse when we left). Great group of folks to dive with. I was shooting this with just natural light on a Sealife. Greg

Thank you I bought a regulator used without a manual and I thought it was broken.
Great video!
Ohhhhhhh. THANK you.
great video sir ! just a question, what action shall a diver must take when it starts free flow under water ? can we stop it with the same method ? thank you in advance :)
Yes, you can! it will stop with the same method, or you can block the mouthpiece
Awesome explanation. I have the c300 and love it
Best explanation and example on the net. Thanks!
If you're using helium at depth and the reg free flows, is it the cracking pressure that needs adjusting or has it to do with the size of the diaphragm or the design of the purge button/cover? First stage IP is correct. Or would it be a problem with the venturi vane?
great explanation
Great explanation 🤙
Thats awsome, its just scary to think that you guys dive there.... u got some balls😂 I was there the other day and a huge 10ft bull hit a topwater bait.... kinda scary to think about, and them Goliaths are monstrous!
My faber 95 just failed hydro. Meh. DOT makes them stamp xx's on the neck markings. It's now a piece of lawn art. Thanks for making this video, Greg ! I learned something here.
Bummer! I hate stamping tanks out when we have to :-(. Greg
Thank you for posting!
Good info
80 degree and you still wear wetsuits?
Wouldn't you breath in more air if it is set to free flow position?
Common misconception. You don't breath in more air, but you use less oxygen because you are using less "muscle" to actually pull in a breath. Poor breathing regulators require higher work of breath. Really, you are looking for something that almost breaths for you and you control your breathing rate (ideally it is similar to yago breathing in terms of depth and speed). Greg
I got it. Thank you. You don't get tired as fast = stay underwater longer.
Work of breathing increases causes oxygen consumption increase, think we re saying the same thing...
is this in Sarasota?
Yes, just off the coast about 14 miles.
what the sound at 4:26
Wonderful video of you amazing dive vacation. Looks like you guys had a blast in paradise. Thanks for sharing........
Great Video, did you do all this with a GoPro?
urf the manatee?
Sure were biting the divers a lot.
Donut Dives are the best Dives! :)
So great to see that FL underwater sports not only helps people fall in love with scuba diving, but also fall in love with each other!
Huge!!!! Honestly, I was so amazed - I guessed in the 10-12' range. The Cobia with him were all 4' or so. Greg
A little to big for my tank
Not Fair - I must of just missed this Fish Hunt!! Pretty awesome though :)
a year too late to this conversation, but they are Caribbean Reef Squid and they were doing their mating dance. The male (the red one) was warning competitors after working on her to accept him. I found out that they actually die after they mate...yikes! I was right next Greg when he filmed it and I'd never seen such color like those that were flashing on the female. Amazing...
this sarasota florida
yea
Very Nice Video!
Hey - I was using a similar light to the Mini Q40. I haven't been able to see the bottom from 80' except once or twice when the viz was really good. Normally, you can see the 100' platform at about 90' or so. The silt layer moves up and down sometimes as well and you can see platform at all. I think viz that day was about 10' or so. The light will help for sure though. Greg
Hey I was there a few months ago, and my Dad (buddy) and My lights were not as strong as we wanted. I have the mini Q40 his might be a little bigger. Anyway, He got me a Princeton Tec Torrent for Christmas. I was wondering just to compare, what is the light you are using in this video? We never went to the bottom, we went to 80ft and could never see anything. Now we know that we were almost there. Someone told us if we had a bigger light at 80ft we could have seen the bottom.
Great video. So who is this [add your name here] director. he did a great job and has a funny name ;)
I have been to those numbers and I did not see anything, how long are the ledges? is it more north or south of this GPS number?
Those numbers cant be right.... 7 miles out is only 35ft Deep? To get to 62ft of water you would have to go out atleast 13 miles
Hey - yes, it is a squid - i love how they change color and turn red when i get too close! greg
It was a blast. We are headed back there on March 21st.
wow, so much life at this location.
it's like freakiin' Finding Nemo!!!
fantastic footage ....looks like u had a great dive .....reminds me when i was there in 2007
Great video! Thanks!
Thanks for posting. Doing a Christmas Eve dive tomorrow at that location.
about 7 miles sw of big pass, 62 feet.
How far out is this and how Deep?
Approx. 27 10.500', 82 46.050'. Look for about 4-5 feet of relief on the finder. Greg
