I'm playing Alakazam Ex deck right now, I'm old school Pokémon TCG player, and honestly is frustrating to play nowadays. All the "tier list" decks are only to pull half of your deck by your second turn and do all the possible damage with only two energies, ike the charizard one. Most unbalanced sh%t ever.@@MattShull

That’s definitely something to keep in mind. Scooping can be a big part of the game when you use it properly.

Yeah it’s because of logos and such. Probably not offensive shirts as much as it is Pokémon wanting Pokémon repped instead of some other brand. Seems the exception is if it’s for a team Jersey that has CGC or PSA and the team name on it. Those seem to be allowed, since it’s about card game logos in general.

Being a good player is about being able to strategize, make good decisions, etc. But a good player can still make silly mistakes like this, which was just a quick mental lapse. Your argument is like saying a famous author is incapable of making a typo.

@@jnunez06 Plus would the extra power tablet even matter? Doesn't look like it. You are suggesting someone would cheat in a way that probably didn't matter, in a match watched by thousands of people where it is sure to be caught and result in a penalty.

Yeah, mad respect to Giratina Lost Zone because it's been around a while and gotten results for a while too. That's not something every deck can do.

@MattShull yeah its pretty solid, but it can be tricky to play sometimes...like most lost zone decks lol. One of my personal favorites

It’s very hit or miss on how Giratina lost zone is played but it’s super well rounded. Its longevity is hard to argue with.

100% it’s annoying. Same goes for Tord Reklev getting DQ’d for slow playing with Gardevoir. If you are trying to intentionally stall so you tie, that’s not the best player behavior.

Yeah definitely a learning out of this match for me was when items are blocked get stage 1 out one the bench to set up stage 2 the next turn! This being my first tournament I’m chalking it up to nerves and inexperience.
