Nice Vid. I have a few questions. What picture profile do you use the most with the Sony cameras? Guessing it depends on lighting. With the 24-240 lens, how high are you letting the iso go before you get footage that is unusable? I'm running the A7IV.. It's not an A7S3, but close. Ha!

What about chestnut acorns? I have a property with white oaks, red oats and chestnuts. I'm wondering what trees to hunt around best for deer to feed off of. Thanks

Nice video. I actually still really like video cameras. We chatted on here last season a little about this. I was thinking of going down the mirror less rabbit hole but decided to hold off for this year. I’m filming this year with only a 1080p out of a Canon G40. I LOVE the 20x optical lens and the batteries last forever. I use the same shotgun mic you have and DJI Mic for wireless. I’m more of an insta360 and DJI than go pro. For my second angle I’m using my Insta360 one RS dual lens with the 2 hr battery. For my tracking I use a DJI Action 2. I’m using the Lone Wolf Custom Razor with a stabilizer base from G2 3D. All of my gear can fit in a my Sitka waste pack. For me light weight is important this season. Great job again and keep up the good work.

Dropped a medium doe yesterday with a seeing eye arrow. Misjudged the distance by 10 yards and jerked the shot.

This is a great video this is something I would add for people. Personally I much more prefer a crop sensor camera. Now for photos it's kinda a wash unless you're shooting a wedding and need a dual card slot then full frame forsure. But here's why. 1. Crop sensor lenses are less expensive for the same quality as the full frame equivalent. 2. Crop factor allows for more zoom capabilities. 3. Newer Crop sensors perform almost identical in all testing situations to a full frame in low light IF YOU KNOW YOUR SETTINGS. ( a6700, zve10 are great examples of this ) 4. Crop sensor cameras are smaller and more compact , I use a 18-300mm lense on my aps-c camera and have a ton of zoom in a lighter package. This is so nice for whitetail and western hunts for the weight factor. Full frame definatly is stellar and performs great but cost to benefit I find them to be a wash between the two . Being that alot of full frames are double the price on body and lens fronts. Also if you already have apsc lenses you'll have to buy full frame lenses or run your full frame in Crop mode and 9/10 body's will cut that pixel count down so far that it's hard to get and decent footage. This is just my 2 cents but this video is very helpful for new people ! I use the zve10 and a6700 and I love both of them and don't see myself personally going to full frame anytime soon.

I saw a new york plate in Corydon Indiana, truck with an enclosed trailer with Kuiu on all sides stopping at a motel. I wanted to follow and chat but had an appointment. Figured they were headed West.

That's so funny every spot you hunted that's where I hunt .. hunting is tough in ny they are unlike other deer they don't like grunt calls or rattling seems to spook them at 9:00 I had a stand in there at the end of that logging trail close to where you seen the yote...nice footage

Jhook the doubles to the backside of the seat with the bolts facing up - should still retain the frame pack feature.
