'The End' Hot Sauce Taste Test
มุมมอง 843 ปีที่แล้ว
Hot Sauce from Pepper Palace "The End" comes in at a whopping 6 million SHU's (Scoville Heat Units). This is my first legit shot at having some hot sauce. 6 Minutes between first taste, and milk. Could have gone longer, but it had died off at about 4:30 in, wo the challenege was complete! Can you beat my time? If I can get 1000 Likes I will Try Version 2 - "The End: Flatline".

Festivus Feats of Strength 2019 -- Strongman competition

I competed in Festivus Feats of Strength 2019 at Niagara Frontier Fitness in South Lockport, New York. The event was put on by Iron and Stone Strength. I had a great time and managed a win in the Middleweight Division. I reaggravated my lumbar herniation back in September and never got over it. It was frustrating to not be able to train pretty much at all for this competition, so the frame dead...

Some short clips from yesterdays action at Hidden Valley Campground in Chester Vermont. Yesterday at OCR training we practice crushing a few obstacles on a short course, but the rugged part was part 2... We did a weighted relay, which was a mess of implements including kegs, atlas stones, farmers handles, kettlebells, medballs, plates, and of course, the yoke; all to be moved for 1600m aka “the...

    How about ALWAYS disconnect the negative terminal first. Bad habit to get into disconnecting the positive first. That way, no risk of shorting out your tools when accidently bumping screwdriver of wrench against a grounded frame.

    You give a wrong information : when removing the battery from the motorcycle, be sure to disconnect the NEGATIVE lead wire FIRST. And when installing the battery lead wires, fix the positive lead first and negative last. (It is all written in the service manual of the Suzuki LS650)

  • @peterehlen
    @peterehlen 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Yeah so you should ALWAYS disconnect the negative terminal first when removing a battery. When you re-install, connect the positive first, then negative. You should a.) confirm I'm right via google and if so b.) maybe update your video at roughly 2:10. It's OK, this is how we learn! Jamming a screwdriver through that hole and possibly touching the (grounded) chassis at the same time as the positive post, you are asking for a "shocking" lesson! Thanks for the video.

    How has your recovery been

    • @KILLSANITY88
      @KILLSANITY88 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      danielle lola hey thanks for asking! Recovery was okay. I didn't do anything explicit other than making sure to use my biceps at very light loads to help flush the damaged area (which biceps were the effected area), and increase fluids by a bit for a while. The major effect was it really messed with my ability fatigue. I got tired much earlier in the day, and it hit harder for a while; which was probably was my body working overtime to get back to baseline (biceps, and kidneys). It messed my ability to cut weight for my powerlifting meet (which beats on the kidneys due to water cut). I was able to get my absolute strength back quick and hit a 5# all time PR on my deadlift about 5 weeks after rhabdo hospitalization; which is awesome because I did still cut like 14# for the meet. Lots of people say months before they get back to 100%, and I think thats an exaggeration. Strength AND stamina wise it took about 8 weeks to be 100% normal again.

    • @italianbella620
      @italianbella620 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ian Currie I'm glad to hear you recovered well. Yeah alot of people say it took them months or some even years! And that's what made me nervous ! I got rhabdo 3 weeks ago. I feel a little better each day but my legs are still very weak. That was the damaged area. And I'm afraid I'll never be able to build up my leg muscles again :( so you can lift heavy again ? Even biceps? What was your cpk.

    • @KILLSANITY88
      @KILLSANITY88 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      danielle lola strength with local area may take a couple months to get back to 100%. But you should be making a lot of progress within the next two weeks with strength. Make sure to give them some nice stimulus, loads of fluid, and some nice recovery, you'll be okay! Your fear about your loss of strength is understandable, but just keep in mind it was a speed bump, not a road block! How did you get it? I'd like to learn as much as I can. I was prepping for a powerlifting meet, 3 lifts and some accesories only, then wanted to get back into CF to shed a few pounds without diet/water loss... mistake in my programming. First workout back was "Angie" (100 pull-ups, 100 push ups, 100 sit-ups, 100 squat). The fact that it was 100 pull-ups wasn't what did me in, but i lost stamina and gained bodyweight, yet still beat my best 100 pull-up split. Taking time off, then coming back hard is the typical causation.

    • @italianbella620
      @italianbella620 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ian Currie ok good to know. I was asking the doctors if I could workout my legs again and they had no answers for me ! I guess I'll start off with cardio and and upper body and wait a few more weeks to do legs. I honestly think I got it from one workout with a trainer. I been working out at the gym for 3 years...and I decided I wanted to try training with a trainer to get more results and he pushed me way too far. I knew right after the workout that somethung was wrong. My legs were numb. I waited a few days hoping it was just an intense workout. Then it got worse so I went to hosp. My cpk was 24000. I stayed for 5 days. Followed up blood work last Monday. Cpk was 1100. They told me to come back in 2 weeks to get cleared for the gym. I'm hoping no permanent damage was done to my legs or anything.

  • @jamessnyder9050
    @jamessnyder9050 10 ปีที่แล้ว

    Hi, have a question on sizing. Compared specifically to your 3.0's...did you purchase the same size as your 3.0's or did you go up .5? Some people say to go up .5 but do not know what type of shoe they are comparing to. I have the 3.0's and am going to purchase 4.0's but, want to know which size to buy especially because I am considering custom-fit.

    • @KILLSANITY88
      @KILLSANITY88 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      I stayed with 12 for all three. I feel as though yes, the 3.0 are the loosest fit of the three. If you got a 10 in the 3.0 and it fits like a glove, I would recommend PERHAPS going to 10.5 for a similar fit. Custom though??? Those you can't return if they don't fit... Tough call...

      Front Squat and OHS is done in the lifters because of shin angle. 3.0's i got 375. The second day I had the 4.0's I got 380. I yoke carried 785# for 50' in 4's and they worked great!

      Ian Currie Ok great. I picked the right shoe then. I was going to buy the Reebok CrossFit lite TR's because I'm so used to lifting in Chucks. But they didn't have my size so I guess it was fate for me to have this shoe. I've read reviews and they always seem to tear on the sides after Squats and Dead lifts. So, I just figured I'll go for these. I went to the gym this morning and I would have to say the 3.0s are super light. I wasn't expecting it. Almost the lightness of Vibrams but juiced up in other areas.

      No one has ever or will ever claim that. Your negligent comment lacks merit. It was a simple review of the shoe, which I feel may help someone about the stability, or is better or worse in my opinion than the 3.0's. Why troll? That doesn't seem like that would make a man either.
