Greeting we got issue that issuing bank sent mt700 swift to advising bank and the advising bank send to beneficiary bank with MT710. However once beneficiary bank got the swift message, bank mention they can not open it as it is not confirmed. Beneficiary bank request issuing bank to send another swift message that indicate who is issuing bank , who is intermediate bank as well as who is beneficiary, and also indicate with LC number. I would like to check if it is normal for a beneficiary bank to request that ? cant them send question with a swift message to issuing bank and once issuing bank got the swift and can do the response ? As my issuing bank at this stage unwilling to send any additional message as they feel the job is superfluous...
