A graveyard is beside a Church. A cemetery is away from a Church.

I can't understand why it had to be knocked down. Yes fire damage but it's a shame to see it completely gone

Yes, unfortunately many grand houses in Armagh went the same route. Perhaps it was getting too expensive to maintain anyway.

Thank you for this wonderful presentation! The combination of map images, overhead drone photos and family tree charts is first rate. I especially liked the discussion between Society members at the end. As an American, I find your Armagh accents and your personalities to be charming! Future generations will treasure what you have provided here. 😊

Does anyone know how John Mant can be contacted via email? I’m doing some research on the local Tynan parish and I have some questions. Thanks

Many thanks for making possible the virtual tour from this side of the pond. For sure, couldn’t have climbed those ditches! Loughadian was townland of my Wilkinson, buried in Old Acton cemetery, my first time to view this area.

I remember after Martin Shepherd retired from his milk run in the Tandragee area, we got our milk from Bim. We lived at Cargans, Old Scarva Road. Bim was always immaculately turned out and totally reliable. Regards to the family and Roisin who I worked with as a student in Tayto. Great bit of social history. Well done Felix.

Great video really enjoyed this. Looking forward to the next video upload from the society! You should discuss the recognised individuals of the village more often. Poyntzpass always has unique and fun story’s to share. Feels like we are getting to know the village as a viewer. (Please note - I Could not find this new video on the main channel page. This can be amended on TH-cam studio> customisation > Layout > featured section and alter.) thanks 👍
