@ I can’t remember if I mentioned this on one of your other videos, but I have a 1250gs & a X-ADV 750 but rarely ride the GS as I have so much fun on the Honda. In fact the GS is being collected tomorrow as I’m handing it back (PCP). I’m tempted to get a 2015 GSA as some point in the future as it’s such a good touring bike, looks great too 😎. So I’ll be keeping a close eye on your stock 👀

@ the X-ADV and the ADV are great we sell so many of them. That DCT engine works superbly well in that platform ! We get lots of different GS’s coming through so keep your eye on our website and of course here on our videos and if anything catches your eye let us know 😊

@@Roxak the DCT certainly takes some getting used to and I would agree if you are commuting in tight, stop start traffic the smaller 350 would be a better choice. If your route takes you on more open flowing roads that’s when the DCT 750 comes into its own ! I guess this is why they produce both options

Beautiful bike Matt, only thing is, in the real world of ancient 70mph speed limits on the motorway & 60mph on the roads this bike suits (& more & more speed cameras erected) these very powerful sports based bikes are just not practical...unless used on the track.

@@keepitreal1547 Thank you. You make a very valid point! However these bikes are now a very popular alternative from an out and out 'Sports' bike. You get a similar feel and sound and euphoria but with a bit more comfort and ease. Yes this is a powerhouse but it can also be ridden to the speed limits quite comfortably

@@mattwilliamsonmotorcycles I think what I'm meaning is, sure you can ride a 150-200bhp bike at legal speeds & in comfort, but that's zero enjoyment. With continual funding going into speed cameras, average speed cameras, unmarked police vans with cameras over popular biking roads...such powerful bikes (& i've had many) can't be used to anywhere near their potential. Indeed I've a 20yr old Fireblade with less power than such bikes, that'll do max legal speeds in 1st gear & 2nd gear with absolute ease. Unfortunately the legal clampdowns in the UK has made such amazing bikes, almost unusable. It's the reason my even less powerful Fireblade isn't on the road anymore.

@ again, your points are valid but this is where I love my job because everyone’s want and need and opinion on a bike is different and where you may feel it is a waste of time and not enjoyable ( and you have every right to feel that way ) another person ( me included ) gets so much joy out of riding a bike like this regardless of the speed we are going and that’s the beauty of motorcycling and why we have such a variety of bikes because we are all different people wanting different things 😀

Hi thank you very much for your comment. The reason we do viewing by appointment is because we are such a small team. We simply can't be on hand all day every day to accommodate browsing as Matt has bike services and preparations to get in and out of the shop etc and we would hate for someone to waste a journey. With appointments it means we are ready when you arrive and you get as much time as needed and every customer who has been to the shop and bought from us loves that aspect of our business but we appreciate everyone likes a different experience and different shops can offer different things. We terminated our BSA contract at the start of 2024. Unfortunately for reasons out of our control it didn't allow us to run the business how we have built it up to be and we didn't want to risk the reputation we have worked so hard for. It was purely a business and family decision and we wish the BSA brand all the luck in the future.

Thank you very much, already learnt that lesson we stick to what we do best !

@@edusalas6913 similar to most water cooled 125’s out there. Depending on riding conditions you will get around 65 mph once the engine has bedded in
