I'm in the later stage of motherhood, where my children are out of their teens, and more independent, but still living at home. I feel this stage is just as important as the first because they still need our Godly advice and wisdom of living and how to prepare to live on their own. Mothering never truly goes away from our kids, it only shifts into another perspective and daily focus. I feel I have done the most important thing in raising them, as they both love the Lord and have been baptized in HIM!! I am very thankful for that! Please pray they never stray from His guidance and love for them. Thank you so much!

When I hear you speak about slow living and to choose to follow JESUS and follow the path to healing, my heart longs for this path. I do follow JESUS, but it always seems to be a small voice within me when I hear things like this and it says follow, listen..continue to take little steps in this direction. To shut out all the voices of the world and follow a life of simplicity with JESUS. I have so much trauma from the past and I want him to guide me to complete healing in these areas. My husband doesn't really desire the quietness away from the city life. He loves to work alot, he owns his own business and enjoys it, but my heart cries out to live a life of quietness. We just brought a cabin in the mountains, a vacation home, so I'm very thankful for that. It's a start. Pray for me, that I will continue to follow JESUS and continue in his peace. My name is Angel. I was never in a position to be a mother. It saddened me for many years, but I am thankful for the peace God gave me regarding this. Now I appreciate the moments I can "mother". Sweetheart- its hard, so hard but Our Father is always there to walk with us. I wish I could live near you and support you as a woman, wife and young beautiful lady. Reach out to like-minded spiritual ladies. We all walk this hard road carrying these burdens, never gor one moment think you are alone. My daughter is 30 now but my mother suffered for many years when me and my sisters and brothers were growing up with deep deep depression. My father suicided when I was 4 and left my mother with 5 small children by herself in a new land( Australia). We grew up with many problems and as is true with everyone developed coping mechanisms to survive. They help you survive but when you have children you have to choose big-time. Am I going to continue with this survival mechanism that did help me cope with childhood trauma or am I going to STOP this behaviour and not hand this on to my children. Ask God for strength and courage. As he said to Joshua " Be strong and brave...Yes, be bold and strong! Banish fear and doubt! For remember, the Lord your God is with you wherever you go" (Joshua:1:6, 9). Remember Joshua had to lead the Israelites into the promised land AFTER Moses had died. Fancy stepping into those shoes and remember God called Moses a friend. Imagine how scared Joshua must have been to take on the leadership after Moses but he did - with the courage and strength from Our Great Father who provides exactly what we need when we need it. Just making dinner and listening to this. Yes to the nervous system having a hard time juggling needs. I lost my dad unexpectedly and not the natural way last May and the grief has been very difficult. I’ve definitely changed in my motherhood since, and I’m working every day at growing through this grief and at showing up as the best self I can in this season of life. ❤ thank you for your videos.

What a beautiful video! 💖 I truly believe what you said about healing. I knit, crochet, and cross stitch and when I’m totally immersed in a project my mind can quiet from the stress. I need to sew some more though. I forgot how fun that can be. My last girl at home is 16 now and I’m thankful to have a crafting outlet to fill my soon to be extra time. My homeschooling journey is about to end, and I want to be joy filled about my new life and crafting will definitely help me. 🥰 I’d love to know where you got the bag tutorial. Thank you

Psalm 91 has got me through so many hard times. It is so comforting.

I’m at work rn sewing tents. I’ve been on a journey with God this past year after giving my life to Christ in September 2023. I love sewing so much and He put me here. The Holy Spirit lead me to Jesus, and it’s been an amazing journey so far. I’m slowing working on being able to sew at home, too. God is such a loving Father. I’m happy to have found your channel!
