Hey everybody! Friday morning, my clutch went to the floor, so I knew it was bad. I was able to get it to Grunkle Billy's house and the repairs began. It took us about 10 hours over 3 days. The truck is working better than ever, and I saved a bunch of money. I read that a typical clutch master replacement could be around 350-450 dollars... Of course, I stopped at my local Advance auto, and they hooked me up. We will see you guys on the next one... Easy.

K2 Jump Pack, Battery Bank and inflator review
nice! I'm debating between this and Radiant Cycles gp shorty. Does this exhaust allow you to use a rear stand easily ? the stock one definitely gives me issues.
I can’t say for sure as I don’t currently have a rear stand. Thanks for the comment!
I think it rides better now with the new master; jus' sayin'
I agree. It feels better. Thanks for the comment grunkle billy!
The delivery guy was the happiest guy I've seen in years.
lol
Never had hog so I'm confused, is the foot brakes supposed to be on the left side? Take care bro.
Before 75 Harley’s were left foot brake right side shift. Then the nhtsa forced all bike mfgs to conform to one way. So left side shift and right foot brake became standard. So anything before 75 was the old Harley way.
@@icemanfiveoh ahhhhh, I'm smarter today thanks to you.
😎👍😎 Rattle can primer on your tank..
I agree, I need to do something before winter.
Is this pinecil V2 what you using? I have the pinecil V2 but is not wirki g with the hakko t12 tips! Even the hakko t12 tips have from 6.5 ohm to 7.8 ohm it should work but the pinecil mot recognize it! There us the symbol thathe missing the tips ! If xou have a Idea let me know please .
It is a V2. Make sure the bands are lining up with the contacts in the pinecil. And you are using a 3D printed tip adapter, right? I didn't have any issues getting it to work. I did add a smoked clear case for mine, so I could see the contacts through the case, that made it easier.
Hi Are you having problems with the led lights??? Some people say the led lights got hot Thanks for the video
I have had zero issues with them since I installed them.thanks for the comment!
@kc1800party The connectors I used are called spade terminals. You can pick them up anywhere like menards home depot auto parts stores ect. you strip the wire and just crimp them on.
Good video schematic curve please shar
yes different cover
i always do cables and wiring last...
I get it. My real goal was to verify that the engine would run, then keep building the rest. For the most part, I have left that stuff for the end.
I get all bolts etc at the local hardware....take the manuel in and say...I need that ! MUCH CHEAPER ans better quality
That's what I have been doing since day one. I have gotten a few bolt kits, but I'd say 90% of the bolts I get have been from the Ace Hardware right by my house. And I'm only buying the chrome ones... I worked at ace for 7 years, and you would be surprised that most of the employees are clueless when it comes to bolts. I usually go through the manual, write down the bolt sizes and just grab everything myself.
@@icemanfiveoh Remember the same people are working at the different part places online.NEBER buy anything that can not be returned.
let them laugh....they were in the same situation at one time.
Some people are just mean and think they know everything. They forget that at one time they didn't know ISH either.... Thanks for the comments! I appreciate it.
@@icemanfiveoh I am building a 73 from the frame up for my daughter...
If I were to do this again, I would make sure that the parts I picked came from the same year. I got these parts from a Harley dude who is mostly into pans and shovels. He picked some not so great year combinations. It has caused a few roadblocks. It would have been way easier if some of the parts were closer to one year or another. Stuff changed a bit between 73 and 77 which has made it hard.
@@icemanfiveoh oh I know all to well.Different things in the same year also.
Great...Lol.
I have made 3 sportsters from frame up and damn it is nice to see someone else going thru the bull shit I have lol
Lol. There has been a lot of ISH.... Everything has fought me..... But I enjoy it.
@@icemanfiveoh you will get your reward when you hear it purr. The 73 has BEAUTIFUL lines
I know I will! That is the part I'm most excited about.
GET A MANUEL
I have both a parts catalog and a service manual. Sometimes neither really show nor explain what I'm looking for. I've spent a lot of time watching videos just staring at the bike for an idea of where some things go.
@@icemanfiveoh you tube has lots of help also
TH-cam has been some help. More visually looking at the bike vs what the guys are doing. Most of what I have looked at seems like it was filmed on a potato...Lol. That's why I'm trying to document what I am doing up close in 4k....
first time is my guess...lol
Assembling a Harley, yes....
Hello yes what video did you insta from light on I have same light but don’t know what to do to hook up the back for the running light and brake light to work
When I plug in the USB, the indicator light comes on, but none of the key LEDs come on. The computer recognizes it, but I can't type. Can you tell me what's causing the problem?
Mine has the same issues occasionally. Check the switch on the side to make sure you are in pc mode, not Wi-Fi. I've had nothing but problems with mine. I wouldn't buy one of these. Thanks for the comment.
Excellent advice. Thank you
Thanks for the comment!!
I want the same exact set up for mine. Do you by chance have part numbers I could borrow to copy this set up lol
Do these jump in and out of settings? The ones i have done have a detent if the lever goes the opposite way.
The adjustment levers stay where I set them. I have had zero issues since I installed them. Thanks for the comment!
May the fermi bubble protect you!
I'm so glad I discovered your channel and this build. I also got a 73 from a coworker thats in pieces, although you're lucky and got a few more parts with it than I did. This gonna help me tremendously with my build
Welcome aboard! I'm glad you found the channel! I have really struggled to get the info I have needed to put this thing together. Most of the videos out there look like they were filmed with a potato. My goal with this project was to show people up close in 4k what went where, ECT. If you get stuck, have a question or whatever, leave a comment or email me. Icemanfiveoh on gmail....
It's alive! Great to see it progressing!
It's coming along, awesome. Keep it up brothah.
Thanks Rick! It's not far from running.... Hope you and the fam are good and safe!
just a little tip, you might wanna add some ventilation holes to the base, to allow for proper measurement of indoor values, and stop moisture buildup inside
Pretty neat! Except the end-part, but that just means another opportunity for Excellence!
Sorry to see it crashed, but glad you're handling it so well! Hopefully, you'll resurrect it soon!👍
lol. I didn’t even get angry… stuff happens. And it’s only money. It will LIVE!
Hey this isn't LEDs we talked about lol
No, this is another hair brained idea... I did buy the ESP32's for the "other" project. And I got the LED strips for that as well.... I just need some WOOD... Lol.
@@icemanfiveoh 😂 I approve
Where do u live?...those roads look worse than louisianas roads...not good
Lol. Blame JB Priksger... Illinois roads suck.
I have the Pinecil V1 and it looks like the V2 has the same problem. I've tried mine with every PD charger I have and even bought a few specifically for the damn thing and it won't work at full power with any of them. It's extremely fussy about the PD power supply it likes. That's my only complaint, and the silicone thing they put on the iron for non slip does nothing but slip. lol
Thanks for the comment! I wish the PD part worked with any PD charger. That's my issue with it as well. Other than that, it's not bad. It's not my go-to iron, but it has come in handy a few times.
My apologies if you already tried this option. I bought an amazon basics usb-c 65w and had zero issues using a pinecil V2 on default settings
@Dewfie thanks for the tip! I’m going to have to grab one… thanks for the comment I appreciate it.
@@Dewfie I thought about buying the amazon basics charger but I found a cable that works with the pinecil and all of the chargers I already have.
@@icemanfiveoh If you want something that is more universal and will just work with any power delivery charger you should consider the cable I bought. It's a usb c to barrel jack cable with a built in power delivery chip. It works with every charger I have. They make them in a lot of voltages so if you decide to check them out just make sure you get the 20 volt one.
I'm still watching. Take care bro.
Thanks Rick! I appreciate all of you guys!
A little too tight and too long huh😂 Oh can't forget the chrome nut 😅😂😅
🤣 Lol. what can I say?
I have spare left and right CB350Four sidecover original badges I purchased in 1979 from a dealer for AU$37.00 the pair that you can have now in 2024 for US$600.00 a pair. MUCH nicer than the trashy reproduction ones they make in China. Cheers.
Your kickstand rubber is about to fall off. I still have my original 1973 CB350 four I bought new. It's never been ridden on a wet road and is now showing 62,000KM's (40,000 miles) and it's compression is still 160psi (just down 10psi from new from factory in 1973). They are a fun little bike for sure.
I appreciate you making content even if they're not getting the views you're hoping for... I'm admittedly someone who found you while looking for Rebel content but I hang around and watch when I can. Especially 'cause you're a fellow Chicagoland rider! The weather getting nicer for riding means that winter will be here before you know it... Also, yeah, what was the driver of that Beetle thinking? Seriously, I could smell burnt clutch from here...
@@TonyN491 thanks for the comment. It means a lot to me. Sometimes you just need people to tell you to keep going. And I appreciate that.
Always nice to see the stream of consciousness motovlogs!
Aldım hiçbir işe yaramıyor tamamen yalan yıka arabayı eski haline dönüyor lastik parkatıcı gibi anlık
I agree. That's why I called it snake juice. I wasn't sure if it was going to last, and it didn't. Thanks for the comment!
8:30 but where did you get that red wire from?
I added a red wire to the front and the rear when i dc converted it, so I could use the running lights of the turn signals.
@@icemanfiveoh thanks for replying. What I mean is where does it come from, straight from the battery or spliced from another one?
When I DC converted it, I used an add a fuse in the fuse box and ran that wire over to where it needed to go on the right side of the bike. At the point I attached it on that side, I branched off 2 red wires. One went to the front and one went to the rear. I recommend watching my DC conversion video to see the locations. Thanks for the comment, I appreciate it.
@@icemanfiveoh will do, thanks. I'm trying to add a similar kind of turn signals, your videos are really helpful.
Thanks for the comment, and I'm glad I could help!

Recieved one the same brand with similar issue but didnt know how to open it 🤣 kept putting it at the back of the queue.
You gotta keep going man, just keep pushing till it picks up.
Man, I’ve been trying for years. I average 1 sub a day. It’s not nothing, but I’ve really been trying hard to turn out some detailed videos. Thanks for the encouragement!
Man, I feel for you! Let me talk with you off-line & maybe we can get a fire going under the community! All my best, GB
Thanks Grunkle Billy! Let’s see what we can do.
How much money did it cost you
In total, it was just over 8k. I put 4 down and my payments through Honda are about 100 bucks a month...
Under the heating element there is a fuse, had one with same issue as yours, bridged the fuse and it all started working but as this fuse is not designed to be changed and the position of it is difficult without bending the heating element, so was thrown away.
Great video, just see your Gmail. Thanks a lot
