Outer walk paths, on the lowerdeck sleeping quarter rooms,captain control panel (on top of) and also inside life boat that are attached to the ship itself up top, bowels of ship, and finnaly near hand crank of the lifeboats used to lower them is loot spawn locale hotspots. Rarely, very rarely, in one of rooms on ship that are NOT the sleeping quarters
It's a shame it was so hard to find this review, because this is probably the best review on the game I've seen since release! Really hoping this game shapes up into something good soon, but Starbound taught me to stay cautious.

When you locked the vampire(s) in that room, you should have put down a workstation where they could both make blocks or crafts using that stone that was also locked up with them.
A good idea but the well dries up pretty quick, and I wouldn't want the workshop to ruin the ascetic of the ritual room 😂 but you're right that would be a good idea 🤙

I'm also working on finding a vampire, but I actually think that my dwarf who was found "dead and dehydrated" was just poorly cared for in my badly-configured hospital... no one was giving them water...? Or I have a vamp!
