Last year I read and loved: Notes on Your Sudden Disappearance by Alison Espach. It is not a mystery like the title suggests, but rather a tragic family story. It shook me. Plus I read & loved 2 of Amy Harmon’s books: The Song Book of Benny Lament along with The Unknown Beloved. Amy Harmon has a an auto-read author for me.

Loved this one! I didn’t know about High Society. I think I need to do a movie marathon of Philadelphia Story and High Society and then read Same Time Next Summer. So fun!!!

When I was on a road trip with a man I was dating, we pulled over to stop at a rest area that had a little 7-11 type store. I walked in bought a water and paperback ( can’t remember the author but it was a rom/com) and when we got back on the road, my boyfriend turned to me and asked me what I bought. I told him and he smirked and told me that was “kind of a waste of money”. I then asked him how much his cigar cost, and how long it took him to smoke it. (he was a huge cigar aficionado) He proudly said, “$20! And it can last a good hour.” I then shared that my book cost $6.00 and would last a lifetime! After that he never questioned my purchases again !

Noelle is my mom and I was just in my room when she was doing this and by the way, i think it's really cool you are doing this stuff with authors!
