Meet a 70-year-old climate change champion from Kenya.
มุมมอง 10K7 หลายเดือนก่อน
When it comes to combating #climatechange , age is just a number, as demonstrated by 70-year-old Josephine Mutava from Kenya's semi-arid area of Makueni. From learning how to leave her once infertile land to naturally regenerate and grow more grass for her cattle, to planting trees to protect her house from wind, and adopting grain amaranth to add on to that extra income, I hope her story inspi...

Different Stakeholders , NGOs, and International Organizations must help like Madam Mbathie, who works in practicing on Sustainable Agriculture practices in arid areas.
Sustainability of donor funded project is a major hiccup to people like madam Mutava as they are always short term not addressing long term challenges that comes at the tail end of the project unless there is a follow up phase.
Madam Mbithe and all the ADSE fraternity barikiweni sana
She is doing a fantastic work unfortunately, the grain amaranth was a trial thing which has ended leaving the farmers to find the disease infestation solutions on their own.
Wonderful,ADSE thank you so much for that far and alot of knowledge you left us with.mimi hio cake ya mchicha nilikula.just a small piece of that cake unakaa siku zima bila kuagiza chakula tena

This guy had a wonderful feasible idea!! We need more men like him to clean the world of plastic!!
Absolutely. It's the small things communities are undertaking that are making huge impacts for our environment.

your idea makes no sense if you use cement, cement is CO² production, why don't you use clay?
Can clay be used under water to sustain the artificial bricks?
Great work
Thanks
Very insightful piece on the situation at the Kenyan coast. Good video overall

i love how the Maasai woman is toiling to make ends meet.
They are diligent, hard working women. I was very impressed by the distances that walked to get the bottles.
Isn't this lovely ..? Bravo 👏 🎉
thank you!
good work
Thank you! Cheers!
In terms of 🔥??
They are actually same like a normal house.
Great job be blessed in jesus name..how much does it cost to build a 2 bedroom house

Compliments from Suriname 🇸🇷 and Guyana 🇬🇾 March 2024
One love from the magical Kenya Jerome!
Good initiative, but I feel big corporates like Pepsi and coca cola shld be held accountable for the environmental chaos they are creating
I totally agree with you. Companies would take the responsibility of collecting the bottles they manufacture or if they can't the they should pay for the collection and recycling of those bottles. that also mean they should produce products that can be recycled if not then they should turn to glass bottles and ensure that are collected and recycled still.
Wow . isn't this great??❤
Thank you Judy.
❤😊 Good job 😊
Thank you London-views.
Good job guys 💪
Thank you Jane.
Fantastic ingenuity of repurpossing and recycling ♻️ ideas and materials there are homes in the southwest of the U.S. made from tires and other refuse items from the dump heaps.
Wow! re-purposing! that's what we need to ensure the globe we commonly call home is a better place for us and our future generations to live in,
Brilliant ✅💯
Thanks.
Awesome bravo guys
Thanks.
Good job! 👏
Thanks! 😄
This idea of building with plastic bottles is borrowed idea it first started with a kenyan Somali lady who residets in North Eastern Warjir or moyale .
Zawadi, Mwangi says he intensively researched, before he implemented it. Nothing is new under the sun and there is no harm in replicating what you find noble, affordable, and sustainable being done elsewhere.
What is wrong with refining an idea , even it came from an alien? It's like complaining someone built a Toyota or Mercedes Benz car while Ford had already built their Ford cars. Ideas evolves and get refined .
MAN YOU ARE A BLESSED HUMAN BY GOD ALMIGHTY HIMSELF. THIS IS GENIUS. BRILLIANT JUST WONDERFUL THIS.
Thanks
Great project...
Thank you!

Atleast I’ve learned something I never knew before.. Idigineous na Exotic tree difference 😅😅
Indigenous trees Its every important they are the one that allows an ecosystem to naturally recover.
This is absolutely true, the west shall and will not help us in any way!! It’s upon Africa and Africans to rise up.
The sooner our leaders woke up to that reality the sooner we move. The Masses seems clear on that but our leadership (a majority) are still stuck there. some changing hands from USA, France, Britain etc to China and Russia a completely wrong turn to take this century and in the future. Africa needs to innovate for Africa by Africans.
Put more content we want to hear more sophie mbugua

Thank you for the compliment. Just trying to be us the best we way God is guiding us. But she is a real role model today.
Nice content continue future is luminous.
Thank you.
So many things to unpack from the insights you have shared here/ no one is really coming to save us. So we have to take ownership and find solutions to our problems.
It's key for Africa to look within. Thanks for watching.
True , west will never help afrika to develope. Look at who rules the west and youl know ,if they will help you. Currently west is ruled by vatican and they dont have a good work record.
Action should happen within our communities as they bear the biggest brunt. thanks for watching.
