@@coilsandcurls Wow, I hadn't heard of texture changing, I've always had fine hair but haven't really noticed if it has become any finer. It's certainly less dense, gone from medium to low density.

@@coilsandcurls Thanks, I think I've seen that one but will have a look again. I was on a medication for a decade which I didn't know caused telogen effluvium. It sometimes is obvious, other times it's slow and hard to perceive which was the case for me. Although a one off hair loss event (after which it regrew thinner) near the start had been put down to something else when it might have be the medication. Then I just thought it was aging. However because it takes a long time to replace a head of hair it took many years to realise that my anangen growing phase had been significantly shortened because my hair length had got a lot shorter (shorter than I prefer/suits my face shape) and I simply couldn't grow it longer/wasn't cutting it shorter. I stumbled across a video from dermatologist Dr Dray's channel back in January which covered hair loss and medications which can cause it in which she listed my medication and it all made sense. In early Feb I was switched back to a medication which I had been on before the telogen effluvium causing one. So, as my hair has always grown very slowly anyway, and curly hair shrinks, I'm still kind of waiting for it to grow back to see how much it will thicken up to determine what component of the thinning was indeed due to aging. I am slowly gaining a bit of length now, so slowly because of shrinkage of course (mostly 3b curls). I hope you see this as I've written this in case you want to warn your viewers who might be suffering hair loss to check about medications which could be causing it. As Dr Dray says, it can be hard to tell if one known to cause hair loss is the culprit but my hair is clearly getting longer and I do have new growth. It took me a decade to really think there could be another reason medically other than aging, and that was because of the shortened hair length (even though my GP didn't really consider that) even before I saw Dr Dray's video. My GP didn't really know much about it and neither they, or the pharmacist had ever thought/known to point out that side effect to me. Most people wouldn't be on this particular medication long term, as in years to have a gradual effect like me.

I didn’t think I said straight hair doesn’t knot. I was saying that straight hair goes back to its original position whereas curly hair twists together when we move. I’m sorry if that wasn’t clear.

Great question!! I cut it off in 2008 because it was too time consuming. Lol! I also needed a change. My hair had been long since 1990, it was time. My daughter was 5, I was working and taking care of a house with a hubby who worked 6 days a week. My hair was an added chore at that point. It’s gotten noticeably thinner since I cut it all off. It does grow but I don’t think the lengths would look good. Maybe as the EVOLVh complex and serum work I could try to grow it longer. 💕➿

@@the7cees1 The perm lotion has a slight smell to it but you use such a small amount it didn’t bother me. Of course, I was working in salons in the 80’s and perm smell was all you had back then. Well, perms and bleach! Lol! I could just be immune to it.😂 Thank you for watching!

It depends on the way it looks the next day. I might mist it with water and hope for the best or apply a little bit of a thick leave in conditioner or styler. I may mist it with a spray leave in conditioner and add product. It truly depends on how bad it is in the morning. 😂 Thank you for watching! ➿💕
