I started with her and although the entire game is heavily geared towards Raymond, It's the best experience especially for the story. She's also the better character while Raymond has hardly any character at all, even les than Tidus from FFX, except raymond is much uglier. Probably the ugliest protagonist in the history of JRPGs which usually make MCs pretty.

Appreciate the video. Elena was one of my favorites to use in Playthrough 1 as her moves were fast & she hit like a truck. I'll keep these tips in mind for my 2nd playthrough for Platinum trophy.

Albaird is def underrated. He can be a beast if setup properly

this is useful for long range (nope), assassin where you go in and out of battles (not that either), a tank (nope), or a bruiser that has a lot of ATK (yeah.... well point blank more so but still) and also have a lot of DEF (😖). I'm a glass canon, I can take out Ethereal Queen on Universe dif in like 5 mins with Raymond maxed out (minus one 30% acc factor because I'm having a hard time getting the last one to stick) and I'm trying to build a party around him for when I fight her on Chaos and then I can also quickly rebuild that same party for Letty's run. Hope this build for Nina can help!

Having looked through the loading screen hints, I DO heavily advise getting Guts for your DPS characters. It increases your critical hit chance, as well as your chance to inflict status conditions (Buffs AND debuffs)

I know it's costly to get to, but Force Drain is a good option for the Hold Circle attack in lieu of Shadow Bind. Gives her health restoration at the press of a button, increasing survivability

For Nina, the Int upgrades aren't really for DAMAGE; her healing scales off her Int, so if you were to buy all of those upgrades she would output MASSIVE heals

Just started watching your videos cuz I picked the game up a couple days ago and was looking for good AI builds (I mostly alternate between Laetecia and Ray for my main fighter). I'm not far enough into the game to get him, but I was wondering if you were still planning on doing a Theo guide? He's restricted to Laetecia's campaign, so IDK if you were planning on playing through it again or already have been off-screen for him, but I noticed he was the only character missing from your videos

i already wondered, can albaird's ice sword and fire bolt even cause scorched or frozen respectively? cause of not, i don't get why he even has longer punsihment available as a skill, same goes for nina. maybe only through items?

I strayed my first play through on universal mode, I hit level 93 before I ever got to Auceriuos with Laeticia, and all I did was spam boulder crush the entire time. Later in Den Mohr Delve you NEED “All for One” then use “Berserk” which afterwards you’d use “All in” then spam boulder crush which I hope you had Estery Cage up at the beginning of all that. You’ll do more damage spamming Boulder Crush in the long run then waiting on Abysal to charge up and attack. You’ll get to the point in the Delve where it’s just going to be the same enemies all the time and you’ll always get 300,000k out of the reward cage which is an excellent way of farming Fol especially if your going to start crafting.

Hows this a late game dps build? Low stats. Upping the moves over upping IC? The weps from ic add far more then 12% of 120 attk. Simple lvl up alchmey smithing DT, forget moves. Your damage comes from weps not the skills. You can craft there weps very early, before you even enter the royal city.

The only gripe I have with these videos is that they’re not concise. But I get that the dude isn’t necessarily in a working mindset and just mindlessly rambling for fun rather than for servicing an audience. Just too much talking, not enough annotations, doesn’t capture the information people are looking for, etc.

She can actually cover the full party healing duties with her 3 healing abilities and then you can leave Nina out. Nina is obviously better healer, but Nina also does next to no damage so you can swap in a DPS character instead, bringing your parties total DPS even higher, while Malkya is doing great damage and healing. Boosting her abilities that heal makes them heal for pretty decent amounts. The one that shares HP, doesn't give much of her own while the amount given raises when upgrading it. Upgrading her Weapon vampire also gives everyone decent heals every time they attack. Longer Punishment is nice for the Freeze, but I found for the confusion on the clap skill, that the default 15s it has is way more than long enough

I know she has a skill that reduces cast time in exchange for health, and perhaps that is good, but it bugs me considering Midas gets to flat out increase his cast time with no negatives. I personally have her set up as a pure melee with some decent combo chains and on the charge buttons I have her Self healing attack, attack that AOE heals, and her vampire weaponry that lets teammates absorb damage on attacks. So, she has some decent utility on her as well. When controlling her I have been able to decently keep the party and herself healed while mixing in some combos. Also have some stuff on her that gives her healing soundwaves on attack. I know her INT is typically higher than her attack, so perhaps this is a not sufficient way to build her, but I figured I already had two casters in Midas and Albaird and figured that maybe I can still do good damage considering that in the time it takes to cast spells I can just use her melee attacks to do constant damage. Plus I didn't want to have three characters that spend majority of the match just standing around charging spells. Maybe it evens out.... maybe it don't lol. Been thinking of throwing Acid Rain on her for some DEF debuffs as well. Either way, she is fun. Another thing to remember is if you are not personally controlling the character, it's best to have combos that don't use over 5 AP as 5 is all they will have when the AI uses them.

for her 5 AP AOE wind attack, you just gotta remember if you are not controlling her she will only have 5 AP, so she wont combo it with All In. It's still a great skill to throw on her though.

I worked my Hunter up to 200 Light, now I am working back down to see how far I can go into Dark in the same game. I'm back down to about 150 Light now. I am selecting for AOE cards, I've got almost 20% increased AOE size, and have gotten increased AOE on several cards including Bladestorm. I think it's working out, but I'm only to the point I have recently gotten Wanda back. There's a lot left to go.

Abyssal gate is useless because it takes too much time. Yes,the damage looks delicious,but the DPS is only mediocre.Its just for show.

Hmmm, annihilation is superb , single handle the most OP with 10 heroism , to get that takes proper card planning too Mind bender is excellent, use it on a demon guardian to attack the nest mother to end the fight quicker. I think what’s best for Ultimate 1-3 difficulty is a balanced light and hunter deck build
