Nice blew a fat one to this pic
🤘😜🤘 CAN'T WAIT FOR THE NEXT GWAR ALBUM TO FEATURE GRODIUS!!!
I just found this looking for LPC media, stashing for later cheers
Very informative video. I enjoyed listening to the histories of these companies and the evolution of their guitars.
interesting
Ummm idk why y’all laughing so hard. They are a waaaaaayyyyyyy better guitar than the stock epiphone guitars. With the Gibson pickups and electronics. They are far superior guitars in every aspect. But y’all laugh like it is a joke and honestly it makes me as a 35 year musician think less of you.
Rick Nielson ?
prior to WHIPLASH SMILE whose album art colour palette included gold and bronze - SS was all over those guitar mags
Local music store (ape Music) in Ft Worth brought one back from the namm show in 87. It only had dot inlays with a chrome floyd rose. I traded my 75 les paul deluxe and 300 bucks for it . The weight was about 1/2 and saved my shoulder.
Looks like Lead II from beginning of 80's
tuner and a 2nd chord would create a space with broader appeal.
Junkie... Slow down.
Alex is cool, lovely and talented
That new song was such a treat! I left my body
What new song? I've been impatiently waiting for ever!!!
@selimyenahc3184 search "chevelle new song 2024"
Dude your dad was so right about the demo version I love em both but the demo has the kevorkah
That’s so cool to find that out about “Letter From A Thief” what a crazy story. Also so sad about his bro, like man that stuff sucks when it happens. So glad they’re doing good still!
Haha only here because i like scott pilgrim a lot but what is this
give a listen, help Michael, he loves that bass
You misspelled KAOS radio in your hashtag.
That's a bad 'stache for Cera.
I really appreciate your efforts! A bit off-topic, but I wanted to ask: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). Could you explain how to move them to Binance?
I'm looking for a man in Binance
Dose he mention anything about 2025 tour or was I not paying attention
Pete selling gear on reverb?? I would absolutely buy one of his PRS's if he sells it.
Wrong use of the term trauma bond. That’s not what that means. But this is great stuff. Chevelle is a long time favorite
great convo. pete seems like such a chill mellow dude!
I’m hyped on a new Chevelle record, Naritias was their best album, yet, so like, I feel like they’re still killing it. They’re basically the only band from their era I still keep up on, so many other bands just checked out, and went the “legacy” route. These dudes been pushing, and keeping it fresh for over 20 years, and I respect the shit out of that.
I can’t wait for new stuff. Niritias was strange to me at first, but now it’s my favorite.
@@johnhowe1309 couldn’t agree more!
That story about how letter from a thief was written is insane. Great stuff
I remember the Joe stuff when it happened. I may not have known the whole story, but I knew he was sus by how often he whined on MySpace and to any blogger who would give him a spare moment. Not to mention he's a far-right goof.
Pete’s lyrics awaken my soul, can’t wait for what’s next!
I wonder what’s next.

This is awesome! Love you, Pete!

Hey Guys, I just listened to this podcast, it was interesting. You guys kinda crapped on the guitar, I get it, but I think you are missing an important piece of the stereo puzzle. I have one of these guitars I inherited from my grandpa. He also had the matching stereo amplifier. I have this set now. I really only just started playing around with it. The amp is a head unit with a split speaker cab (like two clam shells that latch together to contain the head for transport). Then you open the cabinet and spread the speakers apart, and connect the treble speakers to one side of the amp and the bass speaker, a 15" Jensen, to the bass side. each speaker has a coil of speaker cable so you can spread the cabinets apart for maximum stereo effect. The head unit has two separate sides with each side having vol and tone control as well as tremolo. I also have the foot switch for the tremolo, it has two stomp buttons to turn off one side or the other. The amp and guitar both function, but are in a pretty sad state. I need to get the neck reset, and the amps mostly work, but the tremolo does not function correctly. The combo sounds fantastic, I am embarrassed to admit that I have treated the guitar as a wall hanger. Having played it recently, I may have to invest in getting the luthier work done to really enjoy the set. Thanks for the information you had. I wish I knew more about the amp, I am pretty sure it was made by Kay as well.
While I can play a full scale bass, I dont appreciate it as much as my Mustang PJ bass, its phenomenal as a player, and the sound is the two basses that matter most from Fender. I chose this because im a mustang guitar player already, getting the bass made sense. I researched the bass and compared it searching Mustang PJ bass vs another bass, and every single time it could match or beat the bigger bass with ease. At the end of the day, it sounds the part, olays much easier and better(faster and cleaner) than bigger basses imo, and i really dig being able to play the bass for my songs because bass players around me in my life... only one was good. The rest sucked unbelievably bad. So, I decided since i know theory i can just grab this and handle both to ensure its magic, not a mess.
it's not an 80s thing and does not refer to those hair metal bands. Butt rock is a subgenre of rock and hard rock music that's often characterized by simple melodies and lyrics that lack artistic merit. The term is said to have originated in the early 2000s when radio DJs would play bands that sounded similar and say "we play rock and nothing but rock". The DJs then added an extra "t" to the word, creating the term "butt rock". Some bands that are considered butt rock include: Nickelback, Creed, and Buckcherry. Some songs that are considered butt rock include: "I Walk Alone" by Saliva and "Use Me" by Hinder. The term "butt rock" can also be used as a joke or pop culture moment to define a conversation.
Great interview mang!
Guitar player here, I agree - short scale is the way to go if you just want to add bass to home recordings. I grabbed a Gretsch G2220 which does the job. I'm rubbish on it, but good enough for personal home recordings..
Thanks for this deep dive. I am taking a design historyclass and using much info you provide for a class presentation on Tadanori Yokoo.
This was good - love that lady!!
At first I was annoyed with Zach Blair for talking over Andy so often but then I realized there's an audio delay. Great conversation, always a treat to hear from anyone in the NoMeansNo world.
Hindsight is always 20-20.
I’ll just spray paint it 😭😭
Music has a power to express what cannot be said aloud. It's amazing to hear Nick's take on the situation, and his desire for a kinder, human future. Blessings to the memory of Aaron, he will never be forgotten.

I'm not meaning to be a hater. but this video isn't, helpful or informative. Need more intensive content. Probably need a camera. Not a long time viewer. Interested in the guitar, Google knew that sent me this video, and I'm disappointed. Nothing personal.
Great discussion; I am trying to do some original research for a Magnum bass video, but it's hard to find much about the actual designers, as they have apparently all moved on from this mortal coil long before the internet era. FWIW I have to disagree with you about this "built to military specifications" thing, because there are all sorts of things that can go wrong with these things. Even as a diehard Ovation fan, I cannot pretend they were built to last. Which is why I keep mine in a safe.
