Why is the governor of California proposing a water recycling plant for Carson and the state just gave 4.5 million dollars to Long Beach to build more affordable housing. With all the trucks, chemical plants, and gas refining plants in this city why in the world is our city counsel supporting this?? This community has enough industrial going on that pollutes our air and water. We need more housing which will attract more grocery stores, services and infrastructure this community desperately needs. Would this plant be mostly automated? How many jobs will be created for the residence of our city? What are the benefits to our residence? How do the benefits out way the negative for residents of this city.

I went to this school. I loved art & also had a drafting class & wood shop. I forgot my teacher’s names. That was back in the 80’s & then I went off to Carson High where I won an art contest in class & did the design for Carson Colts T-shirts stencils etc … those were great times

Say Carson Buffet restaurant

It’d be nice to see some open green space /turf area where kids can blow off steam. I see no eateries or spaces to plop down to eat either. Also this would be a great location for Dave n Busters, laser tag and billiards for some family fun. Shopping is great but why not an experience that family’s and young adults can enjoy all day? Shop. Then eat or go have fun. Catch a movie. When will this project be done? I’ve lived here almost 20 years waiting for the original development. By time this gets done I’ll be a retiree and grandma at this rate and will have no interest in this.

What is the delay with the project at Carriage Crest Park and when can we expect the project to be completed?

As being a former citizen of Carson CA, Well growing up in the city. I have to say this gives us a wild sense of pride

I was born in 1975. I lived in the city all my life and went to school, here, from kindergarten to high school (CarsonHigh). This video shows the changes the city has gone through to make this city, of what you see today, a city growing with progress. Recently, I have seen this city follow a pattern of corruption - a self revealing effect - when Success is in the name of Jim Dear. Others, and like many former mayors with the same successful prose; jobs, economic growth and crime prevention...all have been removed in the same fashion. Slander and accusations. Now with Social Media many of "us" residents realize where the corruption is coming from and who is connected to it "on a street level." I hope residents unite and come together and vote-out such true acts of incompetence by those seen on this polarized platform. @dailybreeze @thewhitehouse
