What did you do to make the bass sound like that?
Normal saw synth with light chorus built in Vital. Overdrive x100 + normal distortion, bring down the mid-high EQ with a high shelf, give it lot of stereo width. Bring down the mid frequencies with a multiband compressor, then push the volume up with a limiter. I did it all with stock FL plugins so it's not too hard. Hope this helps!
Some of the attacks sound really weak on that bass, but some of them sound identical to the original track. Especially on the repeated, off-beat low notes it has an unpleasant floppiness to it. Maybe try modulating it somehow. It sounds like it's probably a phase thing, and if all the oscillators in that patch have random phase you could get by with comping together a couple passes so every note has a crisp beginning. The patch is fucking wicked bang on with the timbre of the bass in the track. Big kudos.
I threw together everything you heard in the video in like 2 hours with the Vital subtractive synth and a bunch of stock FL plugins. The video doesn’t lie, I *literally* got bored and started covering the song. Definitely could use some more work on the attack, I agree, but the sound’s a lot less muddy after spending a whole day fiddling with multiband compressors on both the bass and master track. Honestly, the *lead* is what’s giving the biggest headache…
"ill never do that better than they did" To be fair Rudolve probably said the same thing, but I like their covers more than the originals, don't have that self-defeatist attitude bud. you never know what will be a home run.

This is actually one of the best remixes Ive heard for the seventh layer. It still sounds like 7-2 but at least to me it sounds a lot more intense without just blasting your ears with noise like some songs do, great job!
Its alright, but i dont really see the spirit of the earthmover in this. Feels more like a wrath synth then a violence synth.

When you're clearing old "new worlds" and accidentally delete your 6 year old survival world you made back when you first started and have been playing ever since.
I had a creative superflat world that i played on for around 4 years. It got corrupted and I feel guilt like I killed someone when I think about it. I know it was not my fault but I feel horrible.
