G366 has 20" bar g372 has 24" bar. G366 roughly 25sec, g372 roughly 20sec. Both chains hand filed sharp
Maple sap vacuum pump
มุมมอง 4.4K7 ปีที่แล้ว
Surge 30 vacuum pump set up for maple sap. 15cfm pump at 600 rpm. I have it running at 525 rpm. If I crank up the regulator it will run 25", however heat becomes a issue quickly.
The sap is starting to run! 2017

Wisconsin early sap run, didn't even get a chance to turn the vacuum on, yet.
Hey nice off grid setup. Iam looking to do the same but I can't find a pump like this were did you get this pump
I bought the same exact one. I did have to grind the factory screw down a mm so it wouldn’t wiggle. Very easy 🤙🏻
Way to rich
I just ordered the same piece (same color) off eBay for $11. Thanks for showing how to attach it!
If you don’t mind me asking, what size boat? I’m looking to put one on a 1754 - just shy of 18ft
1860
Thanks man !
He doesn't say but make sure you remove the o ring from old throttle to new one or else it will have a bit of play in it
I have the same pump but mine has 3 drip lines, can you explain why yours doesn't?
So, you have a 40+ They are the same minus the driper for each bearing. This is a 30+, which has sealed bearings. 40+ which you have is better imo.
Mine had no compression out of the box
Bad Decompression valve?
@@jonsadevntures433 I think is was a bad seal. I had a local guy go through and port it and throw out into it. I actually forgot about it. But that being said I coulda bought a used 362 lol. The blue saw that could?
Oem*
$100 for 3 minutes of work? What is that about $2000 an hour? Damn, I gotta get into that business. At that rate a guy would only have to work 10 or 15 second a day and he'd be doin just fine, boy howdy I tell ya what.
Nice. I was worried.
I got the new g372xp. It's a bad ass machine
Thanks for the info, my daughter just broke the one on her outlaw & I wasn't sure about the Amazon ones
where can i buy it?
Nice setup. We use a similar milking vacuum pump drawing on a 600 gallon tank. I like your oil return line setup. Have a good season!
lol i have the same year bike...same model...and the tracks. :D good job friend
Ha, same snow plow also lol
Cool boat - great video! We found your channel from a comment you left over on Hometown Acres. We'd really appreciate if you'd give our channel a look if you're not already following us. We're in northwest PA, nearby Hometown Acres and Outdoors with the Morgans. Thanks!
How does it compare to the echo 590? Speed and weight wise?
As it runs now, It handles and feels like it is lighter (not sure about the actual spec) and feels like it has more power. I feel like the cs590 has a little more torque. I feel less fatigue after a day of running the g366 then I did when I had my cs590. I'm not really sure of the reason for that. I do want to emphasize on, i do mean a 10 hour day. So their are alot of variables. I dont want to knock the 590, I never ever has a problem with it.
Great video is it worth the money? I want to buy one for camping. Better recommendation?
Actually it's one of my favorite saws. Granted, I did have to do a few little things to mine, I've herd other folks saw there's were fine out of the box. I've cut around 50 face cord of firewood with it, and no problems. Definitely worth the money in my opinion.
I love your dog
Do you drain fluid with a bucket underneath it to catch all the brake fluid? You skipped out on that part please let me know looking forward to your reply thank you very much
Brake is on the other side. 570 doesnt have one on the right side
Pretty sure that has its own separate box for the brakes we are talking about a throttle. Smh
So dumb how easy the thumb throttle breaks. Broke mine twice then got an aluminum one like you from amazon. My sportsman 570 has been a lemon. Water in the belt housing and now it’s stalling right away when I hit the throttle. Trying to find a fix if anyone has one.
what the link to the temperature control you have to shut it off

I did a big bore kit, on the g366 and a base gasket delete on the g372xp, and they stayed about 5 seconds apart.
372xp rpm max 13500 ?
Yes, I have mine set for 13500 now
@@jonsadevntures433 13200 is de best
@@jonsadevntures433 compresion 140 psi ?
it's around 165 now
it looks like you left the o ring on the old shaft you may want to xfer it over to the new one to keep water from possibly splashing up into an electrical component area.
I just ordered the G366 as well to use with my MS290 FB. Would you happen to have the PN for the chain oilier and the carb, or a link where to order them online?

She is running way rich ol bud
Just got mine , ran it today. Make sure to check the hot and cold shutter tab on the air cover.. Mine was default in ''cold'' weather which i definitely don't want so i flipped it over to the the ''warm'' weather.
Good point.
I'm looking at picking one up, but I'm concerned. How's yours doing? Did you have to start buying parts right out of the gate?
Honestly, I run it quite a bit. Other then changing the carburetor out, and the oiler (personal choice) it has been problem free. I've cut 15 cord of firewood since the video.
@@jonsadevntures433 I wonder if they all come needing a carb? To me that's unacceptable. I can understand needing tuning.
For 100 more then I have into the g366 you could get a echo cs-590. Those are great saws
That was at 9500rpm. I checked it with a tachometer. It's at 11500 now and cuts twice as fast
Was gonna say that was probably running a tad rich. Glad you got it sorted!
@@mikeraftis6332 correct. On the g366 box it says max rpm 11500. That said, mine doesnt seem to have a problem with around 13-13.5.
I just replaced mine it was easy like you said. I do however have a little up s d down play on the throttle once I fastened everything back together. Replaced with the same throttle you have here. Did you experience this? What did I do wrong?
I do have maybe a 32nd of play up and down also.
That's all it takes??? I just broke mine over the weekend. I was hoping it was going to take a lot to replace?!
Thanks
Those dealers always trying to rip people off I tell ya.
FR💀
Nice set up
Tried same thing years ago and the drum failed under about 15 inches of vacuum
