I have read that you have to let Coconut oil set for 10 weeks, otherwise it is over-cleansing and leaves that “drying” feeling to skin. When you let it sit longer, it works better on skin. I hope that helps.

It has nothing to do with deforestation. Palm oil come from palm trees. Why is it deforestation? They we can make money using palm oil as primary raw materials and they don’t want that.

Hi there, nice video help. I did the receipt exactly as you described in this video, plus add some cocoa oil, shea butter and a little amount of bees wax, for hardening the soap after 6 weeks riping. After pouring the hot soap in a mold, i unmolded the next day. I leave in a rack to ripe for 6 weeks. After 2 weeks, the soap begins to stink/smell. I dont know what i did wrong. Its the first time i do this experience. What do you think i did wrong? What i guess its perhaps too much lye. But i am not sure. Can you imagine what was go wrong?
