I can't understand how, with all the "bells and whistles" that come with GM Full size SUV's and tucks, that this was overlooked.... This was a learning experience, so there may be an easier way. I have an LS model Silverado 2010 and I bought new side mirrors with puddle lights and for somehow they don't work even though I put new lights on any clue
Try inserting the bulb 180 degrees around..

My truck which is an LS Silverado 2010 didn't come with puddle lights. I bought new side mirrors with pedal lights and it's still not working
@@DREBEN84 Not sure if this will help...check the owners manual for where any fuse that is related with the mirrors or heated mirrors etc, is located and check that there is a fuse ..might not be a fuse because the puddle light mirrors were not originally included

@@ruinz3503 Not sure what you are referring to... when you remove the "original" bulb, just insert the replacement L.E.D....you might have to insert it 180 degrees opposite if it does not work.. wiring harness (0:34 sec) should already be in the mirror assembly where the clear plastic (0:20 seconds) is underneath

Picture Looks pretty much like a tube tv.. it is very clear .. no flickering (flickering you see is caused by the video recording) but nothing like the newer lcd/plasma/4k

When the video was done, there wasn't a large selection...today, using the bulb number, should get you the proper size.
Great video but there is a plug by the emergency brake pedal.Bobs automotive mirrors sales a harness that plugs in an plugs into your radio .much easier no cutting soldering just plug an play .

Use a cordless drill next time to save time.
When working on plastic, for removal, yes, cordless works great...sadly my cordless batteries don't hold a charge anymore, will need to but a new one eventually 😁 ... BUT when installing anything plastic, I always prefer hand tools..less chance of breaking/cracking/crushing the plastic.
Couldn't you just tap into the video signal cable located where the stereo cables are that connect to the head unit?
Hi..On my Suburban, the video wiring seemingly went from the rear camera to the rear view mirror along the roof between the headliner and metal, and did not come down to the dash. The only wires I found for the camera that came down were power (activation).
I actually owned by dad's parents old Performa 6200CD. He used to use it when he was my age. Mine ran System 7.5.1. Sadly, about a year ago, the hard drive died. I now own a Grape iMac G3 Rev. C.
