I used to attend here with my friends when I was an au pair from 1986 to 1988. My friend Hilary and I shared the same vicar who came from my home village of Kenninghall in Norfolk and Hils met him in Dusseldorf and thus a link was made. We never met until I came to church here and Hilary later wrote the book about St. Augustine's. Rev. Bean was incumbent then and we all sang in the choir up in the organ loft. It is a dear little place and gave such succour as life did not always go as planned.... The music and singing is super and I wish you well in keeping this house alive. It was always such a jolly place.
