Just doing my best, like all of us.
Living a life as connected with Love, Truth, and God as I can, and bringing that awareness into every moment that I can.
Living a life as connected with Love, Truth, and God as I can, and bringing that awareness into every moment that I can.
Listen, and Learn.
There's been a great deal of value that has come into my life by learning to listen more.
There is the old saying, "God gave you two ears and one mouth. Use proportionately."
This does not mean to silence yourself, or to never speak your mind. Far from it.
But it is meant to highlight that we are only learning when we are listening.
And we are only listening when we are not speaking.
On top of this, it makes it so that when we do speak, we are carrying more wisdom with our words. Our words have more weight.
This is partially because when we listen more, we develop more understanding, more wisdom. But also, when our words are less frequent, they have a tendency to carry more depth. This causes a greater impact.

Hard Times with the Right People = Easy Times with the Wrong People
มุมมอง 313 วันที่ผ่านมา
Have you heard this before? "Hard Times make Tough Men. Tough Men make Easy Times. Easy Times make Weak Men. Weak Men make Hard Times." I'm finding the wisdom of the beginning portion of that quote to be quite applicable here, and also quite useful. Because like most things, once you face challenges in an area, other similar challenges will become easier and easier to deal with. In the realm of...

There are many different kinds of conversations we can have. Some are hard, and some are easy. The easy ones keep you where you are, whereas the hard conversations put you in a position where you need to grow. But, even in hard conversations, there are levels. Having a difficult conversation on a complex topic that needs to be addressed is difficult, no matter who it is. But there is a layer of...
You're on your path... Are you staying open to change?

There is nothing at all wrong with having a clear vision of where you're going. There is nothing at all wrong about laying out clear steps on how to get there. But are you staying overly attached to those steps? Because of you are, you are cutting yourself off from the delightful surprise that God may have in store for you. Being disciplined is important for being able to seek God. Being surren...

I wasn't certain what direction my video was going to go today, but it ended up being a real time process of me simply discovering why my energy was not feeling at the same level today as it had been. Are you both invested in the friendship/relationship? #relationships #codependency #communication
มุมมอง 7713 วันที่ผ่านมา
This is such an important topic and conversation. Partially because it's one we have all been part of in some way or another: Is there only one person who invested and giving in this relationship/friendship, or is the relationship equally yoked? It comes down to this: is this relationship an example of healthy interdependency, or codependency? Interdependency is something that is fundamental to...
Be an observer of beauty, that's superb. The little things of another, I could find importance through that. Happy new year too, brother. Best wishes, Jonathan.
You speak exceptionally well. Hey Merry Christmas, bro.
This video came in at the right time. Thanks.
@S_R_sWaRnA That brings warmth to my heart. I'm really glad this could be of help to you. 🙏🏻
Indeed. I would go to a scary place if necessary for another too. Fighting on another's behalf. Loyalty is important to me. If it's a good cause.
@@JonathanOfTheFountain3 Agreed. I'm reminded of Jordan Peterson's talk on becoming dangerous. Being powerful but knowing how to control and direct it, especially toward being a guardian for loved ones, is a truly noble thing.
It's certainly a sound viewpoint, man. There's parallelism between us. While on the path we can assume a form, be dynamic. I'm refining things.
@@JonathanOfTheFountain3 Hell yeah, man. It's such a constant work in progress. If you feel like sharing what you're refining, I'm interested in hearing?
@@JonathanOfTheFountain3 Just subbed to your channel, man. 240 lb. Overhead Press? Great work, bro. 🤙🏻
@@ethanstewartstevenson7309 The similitude we have is changing. That's the main thing. For me, personally, what I was alluding to is the transference of an iron discipline into other endeavors. I experienced a prolonged period of inertia, the ebb, and developed the self-discipline through that metal. Wisdom was acquired through this. The lifting an example. This is an experience of mine. About the lift, thank you. I subbed to ya', you're a cool guy.
Love the way you frame this 😊 I think when we are well-resourced we certainly have more capacity to hold space for others and perhaps sometimes the universe brings those people to us exactly for that reason- because we can hold that space for them and offer our presence from a full cup. As you share at the end, I hear your growth in your overall capacity to hold space and stay grounded in your own experience even when someone else is having a hard time. Thanks for sharing 🙏🏼
@@Lillieluminamusic Thank you so much for that reflection and breakdown Lillie. It's really helpful to hear that from someone whose opinion I value so much. 🥰🫶🏻
