Btw, i heard the Sheraton Hotel Parking lot is a good area for 28R arrivals. Have you been to this spot before, and if so, does it cost money to park here. Also, how much does it cost to park at short term parking garage? And which runways is the most active for arrivals? Sorry for all the questions lol, I really want to have a good time at portland! Any info would be very helpful, thanksss!

Hey! Thank you for your support and kind words! I definitely appreciate it. I have never spotted from the Sheraton hotel parking lot. I need to go check it out. I usually do all my plane spotting from the short-term and long-term parking lots. The short-term lot provides amazing views of runway 28R/10L. Both landings and take-offs. The long-term lot provides great views of runway 28L/10R. Most of the heavies that fly into PDX land and take off on 28L/10R. There is another location that I love which is off of PDX property that is called Broughton Beach. It provides a really cool view. I hope you have a great time here. @@StumptownAviation Hey there! Thanks for all that info! To get some good video of arrivals and departures of North Runway from the Short Term Parking Lot, how much mm lens is needed? Also, how much per hour does it cost to park there?

@@PrepareToTakeoff Hey! Both the short and long term lots are $4/hr. There might be a daily rate, but I am not sure. I have a fixed lens Sont RX10 so I am not exacly sure which lens you should use. I usually zoom in to about 150 - 200mm though on my camera. The runways are really close to the parking structures. I hope this helps! Cheers!

I hope that I can work the aircraft before it goes, but being with a contractor under DHL and only get 767s (for the most part) I don't think it'll happen 😅
