Hello, the name is Cookie Doggy and welcome to the channel.
The content you'll see from me will range to various subjects such as trains, railroading history, animation, video essays, movies, tv shows, and maybe something I find interesting to discuss. My upload schedule is very spuradic but i try to let my audience know a week or two in advance when a video will be uploaded or delayed. For now, this is just something fun to do not a job. Besides talking and non talking choo choo's, I'm interested in shows/movies/games (The Walking Dead, South Park, Thomas The Tank Engine, Back to The Future, Star Wars, Airplane!, Half Life 2, Team Fortress 2, Portal 2 ) graphic design, animation, history (specifically railroading), music, film, and drawing. I also love Dachshund.

Chicago Downtown Railfanning - May 2024
Back during the first week of May, I drove up to Chicago to visit family so of course I had to film in the infamous Canal St and Ogilvie Transportation Center. I was mainly catching the noon and evening commuter trains coming in and out of the city which of course was the famous Metra trains, but I was able to catch Amtrak's Hiawatha service train and also Metra's UP switchers.

Thanks for the video. Awesome work! Road those trains, many times. The Polar Express was magical! Rode the Military Special train a decade or so. The Fam got to ride in the Military baggage car cause I am a Veteran. Totally Love the State Park at the Rusk terminal. It was so much fun. The tracks and a wye actually go thru the middle of the camping spots!

Man I love this music. It fits in so well in train simulator and mostly with steam. Plus it’s good to dream up this music being played while driving a steam locomotives
Does this railroad operate any steam engines?
Yes, but they haven't been able to this summer due to burn bans. However, they are planning on running steam powered excursions from October 5-7.

Its the strasburg 475 with the cn 3254 1989
CN 3254 out a tune whistle.
The old whistle briefly dubbed in before “Old Mollie” showed up, and #475’s whistle (obviously K&L Trainz) dubbed in afterwards. The old mastadon can really put on quite a show.
