I'm thinking about getting a pair for my 2020 ranger. I don't tow with it but I drive semis and it's hard for me to go back to regular mirrors when switching between my semi and ranger. It's all about being able to see your rear tires when backing.

Thank you so much for doing this. FYI, for anyone doing a GMC Canyon, it's the exact same thing, except the wire is slightly different. There should be a red tab, press that UP, and it should show a small button switch thing. That you push in, then pull. Other than that small detail it's all the same

GREAT VIDEO!! After watching this, I was able to replace my broken mirror successfully today. Only issue I had was putting the panel back in place. Finally got in place after removing the top part of the panel with the clips and installing that separately before attaching the door frame. Thank you much Mike... Sincerely from Ghana..

I liked the video. Just a small observation for your videos and presentation, you tend to really overuse the word 'Actually'. I'm not picking on you, but once I noticed, it became very distracting. I only share this for feedback to you to help improve. Please don't take it another way. Again, thanks, I'm looking into these for my Canyon.

Great video -- waiting these to come back in for my truck. My only comment on the installation is that I would "test" the functions of the mirror before I put the door panel back on. You are probably better than me, but I would probably have at least one thing not plugged in properly or tight :D

Spot on!! I just replaced the passenger-side mirror on my 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. Thank you for posting this video. It took me about 30 minutes to complete the changeover and save me $$$$$.

At 2:17, he is removing the two 7mm screws in the middle of the panel. You need to be aware that these are not screwed into threaded holes but rather into metal clips that are not very tightly set in place. After you pop off the door panel, reposition the clips if necessary. In fact, you might want to fix them in place with a bit of duct tape in case they move while you are putting the panel back on. Otherwise, when you put those two 7mm screws back in, they might not bite into anything.

Used your video to remove a 2015 grand Cherokee mirror. Thank you. Only one I seemed to be able to find on TH-cam.

Very good video mate. Replaced my 2011 Grand Cherokee driver side mirror thanks to this video. I did crack the front bottom corner of the panel trying to pry open those clips. It would be helpful to know where the clips are positioned on the door frame. Thank you.

great video. there was no way i would have ventured in doing this myself without this video. It shows everything you need to know. The clips were valuable information. My mistake was buying a crappy trim tool. Make sure you get a good trim tool not a little plastic one. The toughest part of the job for me was reinstalling the door handle trim. Was tricky lining up the tabs, but eventually goth them in place. Mirrors are great for towing!

Very impressive. You know what you are doing. Actually I replaced mine a little while ago. The only thing you did not mention is the small tab holder for the mirror cable. Mine’s a 1998 and it had one may be your’s is a bit newer and doesn’t have one. But brilliant to see someone work who is on top of his game and knows what he’s doing.
