@@tamasbauer7402 I have to fix you. The motorcycle produces an oil pressure drop already at 1200 rpm, so at 2500 rpm this is not a problem.

Presenetljivo dobro, ker je prestavno razmerje kratko. Seveda pa brez obratov ne gre pri teh 500 kubikih. Prostornine ne more nič zamenjati.

Lahko se primerjava ker sem tudi jaz začel s ČZ 350 in sem visok 1,68m, Brez problema dosežem do tal. tako da ne vidim problema z višino motorja. 19 col kolo spredaj povsem spremeni občutek pri vožnji, meni zelo ustreza. Seveda pa je CB 500 X primerna le za lažji makadam, na asfaltu pa je izredno okretna, kot kakšen 250 motor. Na koncu pa gre pri nakupu bolj za občutek in želje (dizajn). Sicer pa pri obeh Hondah ni napačne odločitve.

Hvala za vaše mnenje, mi veliko pomeni, res. Sem pogledal predlagani video. Torej, da, sem videl, da dosežete tla z nogami, samo ne vem ali je to dovolj tudi za suvereno makadamsko vožnjo? Moram priznati, da po toliko letih nimam več občutka za motor, me pa pošteno mika. Vem, da tale CB ni za pravi off road, vendar na Koroškem, kjer sem doma, imamo veliko makadama in slabih cest. Ne mislim pretiravati, rad pa bi se tu in tam zapeljal tudi po makadamu, ne samo po asfaltu. Moram pa prvo prepričati boljšo polovico, ki bo zagotovo nasprotovala nakupu. Želim vam lepe praznike in srečno v novem letu 2024 :).

After many motorcycles, I realized that I don't need 1000 cc or 100 HP. The Honda CB 500 x suits me perfectly, which I only realized this year. You have known this for many years. Congratulations on this choice and your kilometers.

@@RRRRefuelRideRaceIf (!) I could ride over water, in a direct line, without sleeping or stopping, and find enough fuel stations .... I could get there (Karlobad) in @ 5.1 days (@ 13,500 km). Mind you, at my current fuel consumption of 2.8 L/100 km (!!!) I'd be doing it at a most economical rate compared to most other motorcycles on the road. 😊🦘

I guess you are not familiar with the extremely short gears of the Honda CB 500 x. So I can. I would never hurt my baby.

@@zem6217 I own the bike. You cant ride like you do, you sre hurting the piston rods and the engine is suffering trying to produce power. Honda 500cc twins are actually meant to be used all the way theough the rev range, since they can easily take it up to 8k. By short shifting like you do (50 kmh 5th gear?) you are neither saving fuel nor doing the bike a favor. You should be in 3rd gear at 5. But do as you like.

@@grtbgf I generally agree with you, low-rpm does not translate into taking care of it, nor does rev the hell out of this particular engine. He's doing mostly well tho.
