    Am Indian and I used to have an ice factory at Hamama round point and i used to live in Anjari. Was there for 8 years. I felt sad when you started the video just after Hamama round point cause I was looking through all your videos. Also did you know that Ledger Plaza used to be Kempinski and was given as a gift by Gaddafi. The Gaddafi story is what I was told by other people.

    I heard that N'Djamena is a very expensive city to live. Is it true ? Anyway, nice to discover a new country on TH-cam, from a person who is a local from there.

    • @amirelimrane8895
      @amirelimrane8895 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not really ndjamena is very diverse. There is all kind of social classes. You can have that expensive live or average live. Thank you for the support.

    • @walterhighwood3209

      @@amirelimrane8895 Thank you for your relpy. An American company called Mercer made a reserach on cost of living of 209 different cities around the world. For 2021, N'Djamena ranked on 13th place 😲, between Shenzhen (China) on 12th and New York City on 14th place. I was surprised to see that result. Then I realised that this result comes from American expats working for Mercer who stayed in those places. I guess if you wanna live a Western life by living in a Western standard appartment, and eating and buying Western imported food and products, then it would become expensive in N'Djamena. As you mentioned, there are different social classes, so if you live like a local, N'Djamena might be cheaper than listed on Mercer ranking.

    • @thatguykev856
      @thatguykev856 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      They are black but many tribes in Africa consider themselves Arab because they speak Arabic and their tribe doesn’t have an official language. They speak Arabic because the Arabs colonized parts of Africa

    • @mikailm6934
      @mikailm6934 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Do you say that just because they are dark skin? Because most so called arabs from the Levant or northern Africa aren't more arabs, in fact many of these black arabs are more arabs than some white arabs. Anyway being arab is also like a pan ethnic identity, many can be considered arabs as they speak it and are influenced by it yet they have their own ethnicity(nubian, berber..)
