I wish this guy would debate a high Church Christian. His faith is so shallow and lukewarm. No Christian believed this nonsense for the first 3/4 of Christianity, and most still don't. You can lose your salvation... read the bible Hebrews 10:26-31 and so many others. Haha, he's telling you not to learn and do the bare minimum. This is not what the Bible teaches. Very nice sermon Dr. Rush! I have a question about it though. When you brought up the notion of our mortal life being an infinitesimal dot thats just a part of an infinite line, it got me thinking. If our belief and faith in this infinite line comes only from the Bible and no physical evidence (that has yet to be found), then why should we place such little importance upon our own lives? I have always had a little trouble trusting the Bible to be a completely accurate description of our reality, so I would appreciate it if there are some answers I am unaware of. I do not wish to contest faith in God, but simply to ask questions about Him as that is the best and most effective way to learn from my experience.

Love this one! I wish the pastor would not ask people to bring their guilt to the alter before bringing their sin to those they have broken and destroyed. Jesus told us "If someone has something against you, leave your gift at the altar and FIRST go be reconciled with them and then come back to the altar". People like to use services like this to skip the step of recompense, which Jesus says is nessecary. It's not okay to leave others broken from your sin without even trying to make amends. I know fellow Christians who have deeply hurt others and will not give them the time of day because in their mind they have been forgiven and would rather not talk about their sin because it's uncomfortable. This is not the love Jesus commands of us. I hope one day the pastor does a sermon on this. I know a lot of people that could benefit from it. God bless you all ❤

Hello, I sincerely hope I am not overstepping if you even read this comment as I am aware of how old this particular video is. However I would like to ask some questions about this sermon. I would like to approach this in a friendly manner, I have been fan of Dr. Rush for years now, so I mean no hostility and I hope we can have a constructive dialogue here. First of all, I would like to know exactly why the Bible is a credible source of information. I would like to know exactly why and how the Bible is divinely inspired. Also I would like to know why exactly is it that the Bible is the only “divinely inspired” document that is actually true. And also why should people believe what the Bible says when anyone can observe nature and its laws as well as become a scientist themselves to see firsthand the way the world works which has contradicted the Bible on multiple accounts. You say we have the choice between the virgin birth of the cosmos or the virgin birth of Jesus, and I do not agree that Jesus is the obvious answer. A virgin born human is such a contradiction of all we understand about life that it completely makes no sense. The cosmos we do not yet fully understand, perhaps we will never fully understand. But it is more logical to assume the “virgin birth” of a universe that we do not fully understand than the virgin birth of a human of which we understand greatly. The excerpt you read about the beginning of the universe according to science is not based on faith. We can to such conclusions through testing and measurements in the field of quantum physics and cosmology. In no way are scientists putting faith in their assessment, in fact they are probably hoping it to be proven wrong to make their hypothesis better. That is the difference between science and faith. Religions will always have faith their religion is correct and will always try to justify it within new scientific contexts. Also, what is difficult to believe should not have any bearing on whether or not you actually believe it. No matter how complex and complicated the solution, I will always prefer the truth to simple explanations created by humans before the knowledge we now have. No atheist is claiming that “everything came from nothing”. We cannot assume what happened before the big bang because our understanding of math and physics cannot explain past the big bang. Therefore we do not actually know anything about the big bang. Therefore God may be the answer but there is no definitive proof other than a book that i do not believe to be divinely inspired. The fact that earth has the perfect conditions for life is simply a coincidence that is bound to happen in a universe as big as we measure it to be. We must not forget that earth is only perfect conditions for carbon based life. What other life in another planet might consider perfect conditions would be incredibly hazardous to us.

In every church sermon for this topic preach us only half, which mean the arrogant of younger brother who was lost and found but sometimes i think the main sermon will be on elder brother who stay home with father and become so jealousy when his brother return home and father's gave him everything, So i want to know what is or what will be parable for the jealous brother😢😢

Dr Ryan Rush is either a liar or ignorant either way is unqualified to lead a church. -Rush "baptism doesn't save you" - the bible "baptism now saves you" - Rush "all early Christians submerged" - Didache (earliest Christian writing outside the new testament, 50-100 a.d.) "either submerge or pour water three times over the head) -Rush "Constantine invented infant baptism" - the bible "Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. The promise is for you and your CHILDREN" Also Church Fathers wrote about infant baptism atleast100 years before Constantine was in power. This guy has no clue about what anyone close to Christ believed. All early Christians believed baptism saves you. This nonsense he is preaching wasn't invented until 1500 years after Christ. Be careful not to listen to false teachers, the bible warms of people like pastor Rush. God bless you all, please study for yourselves and do not be led astray.
