I have one of those. Decades ago, I very solemnly announced that I have terrible news. Marvin is dead. When I revealed who Marvin was, the response was a rather disappointing expression of relief and indifference from the assembled multitude. Unfeeling brutes is what they are. Marvin is still dead, consistent to the end and now immune to the passage of time.

Nice! One of the last Made-In Waltham wristwatches...after around 1950, they bought Swiss movements and cased them. The factory closed in 1958-the factory is now residential condominiums.
