I will say that the Nuke site of Shady Sands should be highly irradiated given how radiation works in fallout, sticking around for years upon years. Kind if like how the glowing sea in Fallout 4 is still fubar. Reality is that radiation from a nuclear bomb will dissipate from an area relatively quickly. Unlike radiation from a nuclear power plant disaster which will linger for years upon years. Like Chernobyl to this day is still uninhabitable

Yes some vaults go to shit, but not all of them. Vault 81 for example has survived 200 years just fine, and had an experiment, but the experiment was thwarted, just like Vault 4. Vault 101 also survived 200 years, but only fell because James left. The residents of Vault 8 survived and successfully used their G.E.C.K to start rebuilding. That’s just to name few, yes most Vaults go to shit, but not all of them. Edit: you could also argue Vault 76, but all the residents (our player characters) set out into the wastes to rebuild Appalachia

The Brotherhood of Steel were never the “good guys” even in the games. They are very grey and different chapters can be either more good or more evil as long as they follow the BoS’ founding tenets. They are very similar to the different sectors of Christianity. In fallout 3 the brotherhood was very benevolent mostly because of Elder Lyons. In fallout 4, they clearly weren’t exactly good guys. A super mutant was shown at the Enclave base in episode 2. It was the creature on the tables whos hand was hanging out. The Ghoul was buried underground with IV bags attached to him.

He's wrong about EVERYTHING lore related, and the ONLY thing he may be right about (but could be very wrong too) is Shady Sands being in the wrong place. In the show, it's in the Boneyard (L.A.) where it should be closer to New Vegas. However, there's a good chance that it's a case like early America (like a LOT of themes of ALL Fallout games) where they moved the Shady Sands settlement to the Boneyard as it became the Capitol of the New California Republic. The NCR annexed the Boneyard so it's reasonable to believe they moved Shady Sands. *Especially* since we DON'T see a statue to the Chosen One in Shady Sands, that makes it much more likely that it's not the same Shady Sands from Fallout 1 & 2. And he's going off on the marriage statistics without even *knowing* the reason they got divorced, which is a HUGE plot point in the end. I'm 1/8 black (great grandfather was 100% Sudanese) so I get a little pissy about scumbags like him.
