I always loved Dustin Hoffman's portrayal of James Hook. He delivers his lines with such eloquent charisma but buried underneath those polite words you can just feel a burning black hatred for Peter Pan that is just waiting to be let out.

Along with "Really Useful Engine", additional songs that were to be in the film (but ultimately were cut from the final edit) included "Thomas' Anthem", "Night Train", "The Island Song", and two original songs: "The Whistling Song" & "Girl in Green".

I listened to this synchronously along with the scene and it's a spot on match. Man, you did a really great job on the editing. That's some serious dedication. 👏👏

11/2/24: I updated a few edit points that didn't entirely satisfy me before and I finally got around to fixing them, but other than that the audio is pretty much the same. As I explained on the video for the 'Main Titles', the 'End Titles' were also altered for the films release. 0:00 - 1:43 is 'The Prison Yard' as recorded (with a few edits to fit the scenes in film) by John Williams, but 1:44 - 5:20 is the revised version of the 'Main Titles' ((which was also edited down) which wasn't used in the film, the 'Main and End Titles' were both flip-flopped for the Title sequences in film). Another interesting note regarding the film edit of the 'End Titles' is the inclusion of 'The Love Theme' as the Titles ends. This was not intended by Williams at all. While finishing putting the film together, the credits apparently ended up running longer than intended and was the longest credits sequence up to that point, so Richard Donner had the music editor throw in 'The Love Theme', albeit a trimmed down version, to finish out the credits, which, IMO, was a fantastic decision because 'The Love Theme' is glorious and my favorite love theme by John Williams.

The title was too long so I couldn't fit everything but this is the film version and film edit of the 'Main Titles', which has an interesting story behind the 'film version' portion. This is not the Main Titles as composed by John Williams. What ended up happening, for whatever reason, was part of recording was cut and replaced with a portion of the End Titles, 0:00 - 1:41 is the 'Prelude And Main Titles' as recorded, while 1:41 - 5:00 is taken from the 'End Titles'. The editing takes this further, not only cutting a portion out to fit the Titles sequence, but then pitch-shifting it so it could run a little faster, why is anybody's guess. This is reflected here, at about 1:42 (When the S flies over the screen in film) is when the speed is altered slightly to match the speed in the film.
