Came to the channel for programming guidance, stayed engaged for this content. The most useful video I’ve watched this year. Cheers Marc
Awesome chat! 👌
Never looked at it in that way before and can definitely see this in myself. Great episode.
Great vid Marc, bit late, but I'll be pondering that for the coming days
Джеймс здравствуйте!
Absolute gold. What a great experience. Can't wait to give this a go. Thanks
Really loving these videos! Great work
Inspiring to hear your story, Will! 😊
What a legend! Great to finally "meet" Will. So soft spoken for such an accomplished individual 😎
Obsessed with the real meal bars 🙌🏻 what a legend
@@scenesofreason9504 they’re best in class by a margin in my opinion! The success couldn’t be attributed to a nicer guy, either!
‼️ 3 minutes in & I am hooked‼️ ❤️ Love from Scotland ❤️
@@Captain-Donut appreciate the love and support brother 🫡 🖤
Enjoyed that. well done. CA another time perhaps?
Your camera man is not it.
Thanks for the feedback; anonymous shit-posting troll bot.
Awesome quality production. Great tips.
Much appreciated!
Who would want to do this race 😂 This must be the only time in history humans have paid to punish themselves
Why do anything that’s hard and makes us go past our comfort zone? To challenge yourself and see how far you can push your limits, that’s where you learn the most of who you are.
50-55% dropped out in 21. Temps of 56c, someone died! That was the hardest year!
It was a 47% DNF rate in 2021.
Great Podcast Lads.
How would you kill somebody with a knife marc
Very down to earth and honest interview without any BS ! Many thanks .
Loved this mate 🤙🏻
Hard leg session in air-conditioned gym. So much in that beyond the actual literal event. Thank you both for taking the time to impart your hard learned life lessons. You guys being authentic and vulnerable helps the rest of us to spot the theatrics over real Coaching!!!! 0:00
Great 👌🏼 Congratulations! 👏🏻
I always thought grappling alone, say 3 times a week is all the s&c you need for most people. You develop so much strength and endurance by just grappling. Adding additional routines hinders recovery in my experience. For the professionals, i understand they may require additional work.
Great vid Marc.
Authentic, Informative and a well crafted insight into your next adventure 💪🏻
Epic video Marc! I’d love to see what kit and clothing you have packed for a one night camp out. Can’t wait for the rest of this series keep it going!
I've been looking forward to this 👏
Great camerawork 👊🏻🤩 I will be sure to have electrolytes before coffee from now on. Thanks for the top tip 👍🏻 I'm looking forward to following your adventures, great video
Excellent content as always Marc. Delivered in an engaging and erudite manner. I definitely need to change my brand of electrolytes! 👊
Class first episode bro, looking forward to more! 🤙🏽
Great episode! Looking forward to the next one and following your journey.
Awesome start to an interesting series - again!
Hi m8 what model is the arcterex jacket and do you use a size larger or your regular size thx?
Love this mate, keep ‘em coming… ! Creamed rice is still a terrible recommendation though! 😝
Looking forward to this series, Marc. Some stunning footage and insight there.
This is going to be sooo good!!! Ps. Let’s see how many ask “What backpack are you using?” 😂
Great surroundings, wise words, good company 👊
Looking forward to this series Marc. Tier 1 drone footage. One thing I have noticed since lockdown is more younger adults in the hills and getting amongst it! Then influencing mates, colleagues to do the same. Those that have experienced it tend to get hooked straightaway! The benefits trump the negatives everytime.
I fell into this trap because of social media and a few of those people out there promoting this rat race mentality and ended up with Adrenal Fatigue like issues. My only question is how do men in special operations roles manage this? The training alone breaks you down. No sleep. All of this. Is it something you go into with advantage with let’s say an already trained body and mind so you can handle it or are some of us just weak 😂 Law enforcement, first responders and the spec ops community as a whole I guess. Sincerely curious and would love your input unless you have a blog or TH-cam video about this just point me in that direction. Love your content and subscribed 🤘🏼
Great Q The differences are multitudinal: 1. SF Selection is an acute stage and comes at the end of a long period of [hopefully] specific preparation. Many candidates need as long as two years to be truly prepared for the rigours of those courses. 2. The fears & threats experienced in that world are real and justified. What I mean to say, is a natural reaction to a true stressor [i.e. a guy pointing a gun at you]. It's chronic stress coming from from just looking at over-stimulating social media content or divisive mainstream media designed to cause outrage 3. It's sadly documented that a great many tactical athletes to deal with / succumb to stress related issues. We work with a number inside the program to continue to inoculate them to various stressors and their operational tempos. 4. The goal is not to justify high stress in our own lives by comparing it to an operational tempo. The frame ought to be "how are the guys at the tip of the spear regulating their physiology & psychology to allow them to do that? In what ways can we apply those regulatory skills to ourselves?" 5. The truth is, LEO and the Military community quite literally give so much of themselves to protect us. "No one gets out alive" - without injuries, pain or otherwise. This is why its imperative we continue to acknowledge and appreciate their service and sacrifice.
@@MarcRhodesUncharted Wow. Such a detailed, beautiful answer. It makes so much sense in 2024 especially. If you can, please make a TH-cam video or blog post or podcast about this exact topic. Men who want to be first responders or spec ops. Chronic fatigue, limbic system impairment, stress and anxiety. So much of us need guys like you as mentors. Keep crushing it brother. The world needs more of you.
Awesome 👌 totally agree. Mixed approaches to training rather than using one school of thought. Good to work with a well thought out and progressive training stimulus. Enjoying your content: podcasts have been great too 👌
2nd listen was better than the first👊
