1 DPI 1cm per 360 Yep. It's gaming time.
im here after another one of his pets passed in last half year. yeah... i really do note wanna judge/accuse him on here but if you seen enough police footage of dealing with ppl with excess amount of pets then yeah.
Oh it’s just the song
Worst recoil in gaming history. Beryl shoot in sky like immediately
Low DPI is fundamentally worse because the polling rate is lower and increases latency. Shroud is being a dinosaur with that. High DPI low sens is the massively superior solution
See Optimum Tech's video SCIENTIFICALLY proving this with a test rig.
@@AlanJohnPeach how big is the difference be honest
@@Tipsyfr It's major, at the competitive level. He is ABSOLUTELY wrong. Watch the Optimum Tech video for yourself. What is the point in sub 1ms response time monitors, high frame rates etc, if you then completely stuff yourself by adding 10-20ms with the mouse. it's utter stupidity to spend thousands on a system then screw it out of ignorance over one of the cheapest pieces. And sorry, Shroud has been an absolute tool in EVERY dimension recently. A. Saying everyoone spends 4k on a mattress - detached. B. Attacking someone on Apex this week, personally attacking him for no reason WHATSOEVER - toxic. C. Arrogantly giving out inaccurate tech advise D. Hawking rubbish merch he doesn't care about. I've gone from a fan to "oh what a shame" with Shroud rapidly in 2024, he has become totally and utterly tiresome, his attitude utterly sucks.
@@AlanJohnPeach Debounce time is another thing heavily overlooked. People argue about wireless latency (0.25-1ms on the best-worst mice) but then some mice have between 4-20ms debounce time. Regardless, it won't make you a better player having the lowest latency possible.
@@griffin1366 All of these things are cumulative. The difference between high dpi low sens and low dpi and high sens is SPECIFICALLY tested by Optimum tech. Your point is valid, but irrelevant in relative testing using the same mouse- as on the same SCIENTIFICALLY MEASURED testing equipment. Any issue about debounce time would apply to the mouse in both situations, as all that is being changed is the dpi and sense. Therefore, the measured difference is real, beneficial and totally regardless of debounce time, as you can still reduce latency on the same mouse with the same debounce time. I heavily advise you or ANYONE else who wants to come here with any kind of counterpoint to watch the video. If you had watched that Optimum Tech video, you literally would realise, he has executed a perfect scientific test (that is holding all other variables the same, using specific and accurate repeated measuring techniques that eliminate human error) and specifically isolated via regression, the SPECIFIC impact of dpi and sense. It is factually proven to reduce latency, in a way that DIRECTLY affects on screen reaction. So, politely, it does matter, and I am right, as is Optimum Tech, and Shroud is wrong
when people talk about maintaining a sens or dpi look at it like this; you should tryhard a shooter on 1 sens/dpi for a while maybe a year, then you're free to mess around as you've built up the muscle memory and you'll be able to adapt fast to new sens your brain will have a general idea of how to move.
u cant build muscle memory on a sensitivity btw its all hand to eye coordination and brain function
need mouse space idiots
true
"C'mon bruh, it's a mouse. You need to pair your logitech mouse with a logitech mousepad or it's gg."
I can see pixels on 24 inch, 1080p
At first I used very high sensitivity, when I knew nothing about anything. I just went with the initial feeling. Then I started to notice that almost all the pros and the highest level players used low sens, so I wondered why. Then I tried to copy my favourite pro, and for a while I played with it for a while, but then I started adjusting it a bit, I changed it many times, but not too drastically, until i found my perfect sens and I've been playing with it for many years. Using the settings that 90% of the pros use is a great idea, as long as you understand it, adjust it a bit, and not just blindly copying it. Going against majority just to feel special and different is straight up laughable and pathetic
I don't really care about the sound direction, the way he can track shroud all the time and do bullet spamming, that's really crazy.
❤
Yeah I just base my dpi on what feels good just browsing lol. 600 dpi gang
he's jewish if you wanted that!
Yeah he doesn't know.
1600 dpi and I play almost maxed out on everything, I barely move my arm or hand just my wrist in flicks and it works perfectly for me, stop copying other peoples settings and other peoples play styles and gaming will be a whole lot more fun for you!
such cap lmao if u are that dpi with max sens in games one inch would be a 360 or 180 at bare minimum
To help my fellow mouse players, just don't go over 800 DPI (some razer might need 900/1000). Your crosshair will jitter on most mouses when lifting-flicking. If you are that high dpi '1600 sweet spot' that's why you can't hit/track shit :))
idk what typa temu mouse u got pls nobody listen to this nonsense
THIS! Even like five minutes in to Stardew Valley I had this anxiety come over me and I couldn't figure out why.
Above 27, maybe 32 is still okay? Maybe but it's just crazy above 27inch, you would literally need to tilt your head 360 to see the other side of the screen
Just play more tf. Endurance can be trained.
It's actually better to have slightly higher DPI but then lower the sensitivity in game untill it feels right. Don't go too crazy of course. I'd say something like 1600DPI is pretty good.
Low DPI is so much more stable and leaves more room for error with small pixel movements for people with shaky hands.
or carpal tunnel syndrom lmao
@@kenlo2410 thats from high sens from straining the hand and wrist to stay stable been playing fps low sens for over a decade with no wrist issues, had to do work on rotator cuff and back though
I love how some people think having the same sensitivity as Shroud is going to make them play like Shroud
It's all about the webcam! You got to have the same webcam...
its not that we just want his take on it since hes pro level
Usually that’s not the case, a lot of people start off watching games and play it because it looks fun, they just want to start out with settings that are tried and true and will learn and adapt everything to their own liking as they get better
its stupid to think thats what people think
@@dark_sunset so what would be the reason for using his sensitivity?
Robel Knolls
Its the edpi that matters( ingame sens × dpi)
Are we assuming you're sitting up close to the screen? Can't find any vids describing ol farts in their recliners - casual gaming and surfing from 6 feet away!
Is this supposed to be mind blowing? DPI and in-game sensitivity are two different values that are affected by one another. That should be obvious to anyone
can now get 23.8 in 1440p with all the trimmings....life is good 6 years later 👍🏻
1600 DPI with a 8-8
I feel like more people enjoy watching siege, because its still changing and getting updated, while cs has had mostly the same strategies on each map for 10 years.
I just got my pc which has a 4090 inside and I see get screen tearing on my 45” UltraWide OLED 240hz monitor. I don’t even know anymore. (I’m talking about CS2 with v-sync off)
for gaming yes but for browsing you dont need a mousepad
Just wrong
i remember being new to pc gaming when pubg came out. i didnt know what dpi to use so i just used shroud's dpi for years. i did not like it at all, it was so damn slow for browsing.i only stuck with it because i wanted to be like shroud LMAO. swapped to 800/1600 dpi and never went back.
Players years ago were very weak, almost like bots. This made it seem like Shroud was exceptionally skilled, while in reality, his level was quite average. If Shroud were to return to PUBG now, I believe he would get utterly wrecked, in every sense of the word. Hahaha.
Just bought 32 4k 240hz. You get used to everything.
truly some people are retarded
(X) Doubt it felt like he flipped an honesty switch when he started talking about the slow growth
yo thats wild lol
see man this is why I love doc
Is there a reason why people play low DPI? I've always had the idea that high dpi will introduce (although negligible) but an advantage. Always had mine 3200, only con I've come across is that some badly programmed campaign/SP games that don't have a good sensitivity option will always have high sens even if I set it low ingame, so I set a 1600 mode just for those.
Mice from early 2000s had trouble going above 400 dpi. Now it’s outdated and as long as your mouse doesn’t introduce smoothing like newer gaming mice then higher dpi is better because it’s lower latency. I use the op1 8k and use 3200. Id use 6400 if most game sensitivity sliders would go low enough but a lot don’t so I stick with 3200. Some people still believe the 400 dpi nonsense because they never updated their views for modern times or never knew why in the first place and just copied the csgo pro they like.
@@fireroc2 Ah that makes a lot of sense because I had also heard people mention how super high dpi will introduce unwanted movements due to the nature of its high accuracy. But guess that smoothing feature u mentioned is there for that. Thanks for the info
theres a reason why people who are overly obsessed with ingame settings and routines tend to be mid in fps, just use what feels right for you and make adaptations to any issues you're facing.
yeah fr dont play aim trainers just play the fucking game
@@toromaru0912 Def do aim trainers for a game like cs
@toromaru0912 yeah kind of a flawed take. Aim trainers are like lifting weights to play football or any other sport. You gotta be smart about how you use it and not over rely on it as some sort of "combat simulation". Little bit of tracking practice never hurt anyone.
@@toromaru0912 aim training quadrupled my improvement in fps games
@@Darotiniit's completely dispensable, nobody needs it, just play the game.
the real reason is he has his windows settings on 10/20 or 6/11 and doesnt like changing it to match the dpi, because its just a pain and makes you loot slower because it never feels the exact same.
Do what works for you, dont copy other peoples configs
Sadly We know a lot about his personal life now 😂
A private cheat user telling people how to aim. That’s hilarious

they all do, its how they stand out bud. white listed marketing industry plants who use and are allowed to use cheats to sell gameplay and urge others to play and play for hours chasing fantasy
exactly, it's so odd how he just move with no care in the world, this don't happen with me, if i run like that i will get "ting" on the head and die from a headshot with a single bullet, when i always try to go out in the open i almost always die even if i could find cover the dude will just chase me down, this begs the quesiton these streamers are on to something with their highlights, i am good with my aim especially flicking but i never run from one dude to another killing everyone on my path it's so hard to even spot people let alone get a kill, in apex pros were using bot lobby when came to them one by one. even if i run and gun there is hardly anyone to see, everyone camps and hides in my game
It’s Shroud, he has been a FPS player for decades. Thinking Shroud is sus is like saying Lebron James is using some sort of mechanical advantage in his body to be a good basketball player.
Me watching this video after buying a 24” 1440p : 😷😮💨🤭
