Ford Talk Live Clips - Eville Truck and the Hard Top
My husband thought he’d be sporty and order a 2d jeep, quickly realized it was just too small and inconvenient. So that’s going up for sale soon.
the base model should have locking or limited slip axel standard or opt , no need for black Dimond or sasq.
people really still buy nissans? they have the worst track record ever in anything midsize..or fullsize
Here 😂 I have to do one of these Maverick events at Long McArthur. I keep saying I am then I scheduled all these Bronco/golf/baseball trips and next thing you know I’m out of days. Better planning next year.
Keep the same time hen we can find you!
WE are trying to get better with the Midsize times.
Fell asleep about 40 minutes in but not because of boredom. 😂 Long day. But you know I’ll catch the replay. That said, I’ve always been indifferent on the Mustang, I would not own one but it’s like Baseball and Apple Pie. It’s a Fabric of what America is all about. Would not want to see Ford discontinued the Mustang and I don’t think they will.
Frontier gang 🫡 Love my 3rd gen!!! One of the best trucks I’ve ever had
I have a 2018 tundra.....if I had to replace it I would buy another 18-21 or a gmc 2500hd
200 is still 200
Just bought a fully loaded premium packaged Pro4X, $45k out the door. Made in America. I appreciate Nissan for keeping the V-6 affordable enough for guys like me.
you over paid right now
Best option out there. My brother has one he's had it for 3 years because they started putting the new engine and Driveline in the last two model years of the old body he took advantage of a good discount on the old body style with the new Driveline and it's a fantastic truck he's had it over 3 years now not any problems at all not to mention it's got plenty of power, transmission shifts like butter and he's getting even around town about 20 miles per gallon with the four wheel drive Pro 4X.
He's TOTALLY wrong about transmission fluid. Toyota claims lifetime fluid which was just a marketing ploy for you to pick their car when cross shopping vehicles from other makes. Clutch particles in an Auto trans dirty up the fluid and it needs to be changed.
Ya I don’t follow all their recommendations. I changed my F150 10 speed, with 56,000klm I found out how to do it on Utube. Sucked it out, removed the pan and didn’t spill a drop. Very fine grey particles I found. Changed the Fluid,Oil and gasket, they say you don’t have to change the gasket. Anyway, immediately it shifted smoother. I tow a lot so I didn’t want any unexpected issues.
I'm a auto mechanic of over 40 years and have been a fleet manager for many years, most of my fleet is consistent of F-150s and I can tell you I started changing transmission fluid at 50k to 60k miles because it looked like swamp water, it actually shocked me the first time I serviced the very first one I couldn't believe how bad the fluid looked
Think I would go with a new frontier
Their is always a segment of the population that doesn't want anything to change, ever. "Ain't broke why fix it" mentality. But they don't see the big picture. The environment is broke, wars for oil is broke, peak oil, fracking, on and on. Hundreds of thousands of trucks sold a year, even a 1 mpg improvement makes a HUGE difference for the environment, and it helps your wallet too with rising fuel prices. And these same people will probably deny global warming too. I call it the "Bacon is good for me because I like it" mentality. You can love V8s and still recognize the reality.
Nothing wrong with a turbo. I had a turbo Volvo in the 80s, not even special built from the ground up to be a turbo motor like the modern ones, and it went 200,000 miles on conventional oil before I sold it. Synthetic oil, and regular changes, no worries.
As a 40-year veteran mechanic. I will say the old turbos were Dependable with minimal problems. But today that's not true except with just a few exceptions Mazda being one. Domestically they're building very small displacement engines which have many internal design flaws because they cheapened everything and made some critical engineering design flaws that's not going to show up for a few years not to mention they're using very cheap disposable turbos compared to the turbos of yesteryear so no I'm not a turbo fan today except a couple a few examples
I feel sorry for anyone who is forced to buy a new truck today. Junk. A better investment is to buy a decent used one and rebuild it if necessary.
I drive a 2021 F150 3.5 Twin Turbo, it’s been a great truck. Tons of towing power and good on fuel. I’ve ordered a new one, I do my own service cause a lot of shops get paid to do a full service, and only do what’s easy, I know cause I lived it. I was a painter in a dealership collision shop and would visit the mechanics some times, what I seen would make your hair stand on end. Learn to do most of your own service, most things/process can be found on Utube.
@@mcmuskie2563 Why are you getting rid of a three year old truck?
you just have to be willing to spend the day at dealer and take them to the matt rght now you can get some good deals just need your own financing or use promos you will see more promos coming.....Gm has a 1.9% last month they had a 0.9% i agree with what he said about people still having the Covid mentality Dealers are starting to send vehicles to auction new
@@dansaracino6733 it’s not the price it’s the unneeded complexity based on ridiculous emission regulations that are imposed by an agency no one in America voted for. There isn’t a single engine built today that is as tough as its counterparts of the late 90s and early 2000s. The fuel economy has not improved as the size of the vehicles increase. I had an 02 civic that got 40 mpg. You need a hybrid to even get close to that. They have over priced and over complicated the automobile. The cost to purchase and repair is way beyond buying a new one. It’s almost worth rebuilding one from the scrap yard.
I like Toyota they just want to much for them
35’s you are losing bed space, I like the looks but I want a bed cover
Yeah really kills a cover
I’m looking for a retirement truck which I will buy the first week of January due to a tax issue mostly just drive every day which to you recommend Ranger Raptor or the AT4X ? What are you hearing about the 2025 which should be coming out mid Summer?
I have a feeling Ford may release the Tremor Ranger but nothing official to report just yet. Both Chevy and Fords mid size are to new for big updates for 2025

According to the dealer, my ranger is at the local freight yard waiting to be delivered to the dealership. The next step is to the aftermarket department to install the upgrades before I get to go receive my new truck.
Omg, over 2 hours last night ?? Lmao. Let's see what this is all about..... replay time !
So bummed I missed this one live, lol. Stupid early days at work here lately
Well thank you for watching the replay :)
I now have anxiety about the truck arriving before the funds are available.
I finally got my vin and build date of next week.
Congrats!!
3/19 is a great build date....my birthday!! Lol
