    I'm so glad to be 50 years old. I got to be young in the 90's and that was a gift.

    I've never been to Oasis, but they made some good songs. However, I like their personality, but I rather listen to Noel. Liam hasn't matured enough and it is clear that Noel is way more intelligent and more mature. Those who are in Liam's camp have the same maturity for sure. 2 very different brothers and I feel they have grown apart despite being brothers. Anyway, who wants to listen to old 90s songs when we can listen to them from the 90s. I don't get the fan mentality. Good band, but pretty overrated. You can find so much music that beats these boys by miles.

    thing is, when gigs are all 100 quid plus, people aren't going to go mad at your gig, they're treating it like a wedding or other major expense so they want major phone record of their expenditure/'experience'

    There were some hieroglyphics interpreted once that said “the youth of today are no good” and that’s how it’s always been. You live your generation and it’s the best ever and for me the 90s definitely was especially with oasis being around. Things change and new generations create new styles and one day someone will be saying similar things to Liam and bonehead here. If things didn’t evolve then oasis wouldn’t have made the songs they did. “Standing on the shoulders of giants” is a statement and one day a new musical movement will emerge and that generation will hopefully have as much fun as I did in the 90s. That being said there will never be annuity like it was in the 90s before technology took it away.

    • @fghhgdgdggskkk
      @fghhgdgdggskkk 20 วันที่ผ่านมา

      yea but look what creates the music.. it's always been the culture/counter culture movements. The world is sterile now. The thought police have stamped out any real artistry that has anything to say of any substance. There will only be *great* music again when people start writing about this problem, not while they're scared of confronting it. Great music has always come from the real voice of the people while the people still had one. Where are the people today standing up and making their voice heard? Who is leading us into this next era of musical activism? I don't see anyone born in the 21st century motivated enough to take us there. Virtues are diluted these days. People don't like owning them unless everyone else shares them and if other people don't share one's virtues one tends to disown them. No one is a Liam who is gonna say "fuck it! and what!? I don't give a fuck! Cry me a fucking river!". Men have got no balls anymore, literally and figuratively. I know I sound a bit absolute and there are of course artists out there that take on this endeavour, but as Liam says.. most don't want to rock the boat and just want their paycheck, and they're the people who the system selects for.

      @@fghhgdgdggskkk yeah I agree regarding the way the new generations have been programmed to lose individuality and to fear speaking their minds, it’s sad. However everything is temporary in this world and I can only hope the pendulum swings eventually and the youth have a revolution. It only takes a special few to create a new influence and the inspiration will return. Probably not in my lifetime but I am grateful to have been born when I was and experience real characters and real music. New technology has definitely played a massive part in making the youth’s weak and inculpable for their actions and themselves.

    The Gallagher boys have been and remain, without question, the best interview in rock and roll since the second they appeared on the scene. And at the risk of sounding like an old cunt, he's bang on about concerts. There are still great shows being put on by great bands, but it will definitely never feel quite the same with the inevitable sea of phones we now have to deal with.
